So yeah, I'm not surprised by this in the slightest. That's the exact opposite of what Disney would want.

I'm surprised there's so much nostalgia for this show. I guess it's the generation that grew up with it and this was their introduction to Marvel characters and comic books.
I was an avid comic fan in the mid 80's and into the late 90's (early teens to early adulthood). I personally did not care for this show at all. For me as a comic fan that had already read/owned all the great storyline runs that this show took inspiration from, this was a hard watch. They changed the storylines to huge degrees in this show. To me, I would compare it to a CW show.
Sorry, but the actual stories these are based off of far surpass this show. Don't hate on me...
I hope you guys do enjoy this and it isn't ruined by modern day storytelling made for "modern audiences" like so many other things we grew up loving.

Watched episode 1 with my morning coffee before work and I enjoyed it. Excited to watch episode 2 tonight.
