Thanks it's fine however. I'm putting money into a Custom Frazetta Conan Instead.

Recently picked the set up from a fellow boardie and put it on a Phicen. Really nice looking figure.

I'd love one of those headsculpts. I had bought a headsculpt from ebay for my kitbash a few years back, but it is a touch small... still works, but looks best away from other figs.

I loved the movie as a kid in the 80’s. Especially the lizard man fight and Conan taking the horn off the beast. I couldn’t remember much more about it other than that so I decided to watch it again a couple weeks ago. 35 years later and it’s awful. :lol I still like the look of him in the movie though. :D

After one of these sets. Does anyone know where I can get one? There is an eBay listing currently but I don't trust it.

Great news:
When I first inspected the sword, it looked like the blade portion was painted with metallic steel paint. It had a sort of 'glittery' aspect that we all see in items that are painted (unconvincingly) to look like metal. It looked so much like metallic paint, I thought I would be stuck with it forever, and I didn't like that at all. I know the whole thing is die-cast metal, but judging by the painted-steel look, I presumed the bronze hilt and pommel was the actual color of the whole casting, and the blade had been painted. (it's a one-piece casting)

I WAS WRONG!
I reluctantly and carefully started to polish a small area of the blade with metal polishing paste, and... SHAZAM!!! It can be polished to a 'steel' mirror-finish. I used cotton swabs and heavy paper towels, and it worked fantastically well, all the way up to the rune engraving, right up to the hilt. The polishing paste seemed to have no affect on the bronze portions of the sword at all. It's the hilt and pommel that have been painted bronze, and very nicely too.

I'm going to do the same with the metal dagger later... I'm a happy Cimmerian.

Yeah I just used a bit of wire wool and white spirit on my Conan sword.

Looks better now, considering the sword is real metal IDK why they painted it metallic silver in the first place?

Really wish a company would just make a Conan The barbarian 1/6th figure, NOT DESTROYER. I never understood the fixation on that version when the movie was essentially bad. Those figures you posted Kam look great and I feel they both would sell faster then anything based on Destroyer. I especially wish I can get a war paint Conan or Battle of the mounds/thulsa Doom beheading.
