Yeah its crazy... you can buy the New HT Batman Armory with a functional Batman suit for $570 on Sideshow..
I feel like ppl have put JND on this pedestal because they're the new "high end" and instantly believe it’s the best with the Kojun hype. But You have to be kidding yourselves and like throwing money if you think this is good, I expect perfection across the board for the price they're offering and this isn't it. If anything I'd wait for the IA version whos more sane, actually listens to feedback and treats their customers fairly. But I guess this is for the "real" collectors as JND like to say.
There’s plenty wrong with the new IA Joker also, for starters there’s far too much white makeup on the red suit figure. None of these companies are going to give us perfection. I’m disappointed by both the IA Phoenix Joker and this Armory & Bruce Wayne. Both of which I was pretty excited for.

They only offered Type C directly.

oooh what?? i could swear i saw somewhere that the type a set was like 850~ or something like that from them

Nope, retailers were the only ones who got A & B. C was supposed to be direct from JND only but Spec somehow got a few for his site.

Looks pretty great but this has to be a pretty big fail.

JND need to reassess I think. Their 1/3 price is put of hand and the 1/6 for what they give is also.

Joker scraped by what it is worth in terms of price for me. This really seems lacking especially if Batman can't even be articulated.

Shame. Hopefully they'll take these hits on the chin and become better for it.

I wonder if Batman is a statue because Kojun doesn’t know how to make him articulated with that suit design. Woof.

I feel like I remember hearing that Enterbay chose the Begins suit instead of the Dark Knight suit because it was too complex.

Is this really the Bale Batman “figure” JND is going to stick with? Or will they do a 2.0 that can move?

I know I’ve been ragging on Hot Toys hard lately and we’re all sticklers for accuracy, but I do think Hot Toys “cracked the code” so to speak with their DX12 and QS001 Batman figures. That’s back when they were pioneers. People forget, but before the DX12 and QS001 came along, the suit builds were just rubber encasements. Hot Toys actually took the time to make proper segmented plating over a fabric suit and all five figures (DX12, Armory, DX19, QS001 and QS019) have costumes that have held up beautifully . . . AND can be posed. No company before or after have accomplished this since.

Dudes like OT_Customs try to call themselves “figure makers” but that’s just cowl, neck piece printouts and capes. Everyone’s TDK/TDKR figure, I don’t care how modded it is, has the DX12 or armory or DX19 or QS as a base. To crack that code with all those intricate pieces ain’t easy. We can get flustered about the shoulder pads, knee pads and the like, but at the end of the day, if Hot Toys didn’t make those climbs, we wouldn’t have very good TDK Batman figures.

So a sculpted hair figure is the same price as a rooted Joker?

And what's with their labeling? Forget their alphabet?

It is odd. Bruce with only sculpted hair is priced pretty similarly as their Joker with rooted hair and more accessories. Guess they don't care to change the price all that much depending on that factor.

This is truly insulting.

Anyone buying this needs therapy. Buying this **** is not the flex you think it is.

******* stupid.

HT has nothing to worry about with these ******* man.

🤣🤣🤣

My guy, there are people/kids that show off and ‘flex’ A SINGLE T-SHIRT that costs as much as this set. Don’t be surprised if people do think buying this set is a flex. Sad, but true.

But yeah, so far JND have NOT blown my mind with their reveals the way it’s been hyped up to…

Their Ledger Joker just wasn’t it. The tech is impressive, but the likeness isn’t all there. Same goes for this Bale. It’s like….90 percent there? But for the asking price it NEEDED to be 100 percent. And oh my goodness don’t get me started on the cowled head. And did I read that right? It’s just a statue??

If people are excited by this…man, I wish I could see what they do.

I'm so disappointed with this offering from JND, but I think you both nailed it.

JND's forte is sculpts and tailored fabric on statues. So, rather than innovate, they gave us a sculpt on a statue.

I don't think Kojun has the foggiest clue how to build out the suit on an articulated 1/6 figure. I also think JND knows that and did what they did with the batman "figure" on purpose. Had they produced and articulated 1/6 figure in a complex DK suit, there would have been an equal basis for comparison with HT, and JND's image (and ego's) would have taken a major hit. Say what you will about the inaccuracies with the HT DK/DKR suit, it's certainly complex and no one else is doing it, probably because they can't yet figure it out.

Instead, we'll see them continue to deliver "figures" only when it's a simple fabric suit and a sculpt. No engineers in that group. There's also no point in any of the armory props being removable, because there's no batman to do anything with them.

I also wouldn't hold my breath for a DK/DKR figure from them, nor any of the Iron Man suits from them. Not just because there seems to be 100 different versions of Iron Man available from HT, but because it's much more than just a sculpt and a fabric, so they can't deliver.

To me, this whole offering is just weak cheese and shows how truly limited they are in this arena. I can't wait to not order it.
