InArt Phoenix Joker 1/6

Yeah I think Inart is seriously overestimating just how much love there is for the Joaquin Joker. There's a lot, but not enough for most to want to spend that kind of money on him.

Nah, tax for every state, it’s just that the tax you pay is reflected upon which state you’re in.

It’s not just for Joaquin though, I feel a lot of collectors are priced out of the hobby and want to sell off their collections but can’t due to the over saturation, we’ll see a lot more of this since IKEA has officially removed the Detolf.

So after tax + shipping you’re looking at $650 for each figure.

A curious thing with Spec Fiction is that when I pre-ordered the InArt Ledger Joker I got charged 9.5% tax (California) on the $115 deposit but when they billed me for the balance of $620, they only charged me 7.75% tax (California) on the balance. I thought they would have charged me 9.5% tax on the balance also because that is the tax I pay for purchases here in Los Angeles.

That’s odd, what’s your states sales tax percentage? It might’ve adjusted automatically when payments processed, that happens sometimes.

Edit just read the rest of your comment, strange, but sounds like you lucked out.

I like ordering through Spec though, adding up points, if anything is wrong with your order you don’t have to ship all the way back to HK or Australia. When dealing with boxes this big I’d like to keep it contained to the US as much as possible.

Looking at this more closely I see that on the $115 Ledger Joker deposit I was charged 4 different taxes: Calif. State Tax 6% + Orange County Tax 0.25% + Los Angeles County District Tax 2.25% + Orange County Local Tax 1.00% which all together equals 9.5%. But, like I said, on the $620 balance I was only charged 7.75%. Maybe I did luck out. I wonder if the same thing would happen on the Phoenix Joker if I order from Spec Fiction again.

With people not wanting to pay Moduspace prices and deal with wait times, not handy or patient enough to build their own displays, I see a lot of people growing tired of their collections sitting in boxes for forever, getting topped with 2.0s before they even get a chance to display them. Times are changing forsure.

So no Colt licensing on the revolver? Also is InArt stopping with the die-cast guns? If so that’s kinda disappointing

How far into the check out are you? Yes during checkout, keep in mind it’s just the sales tax for the deposit if you aren’t paying in full. The rest of the sales tax will be applied to the balance when it’s due.

The Arthur figure can still be modded and painted to any other version. The other two are too scene specific. But yeah, it is a tough one. I just buy anything Joker, except Suicide Squad, and Ledger Joker everything.

They could have easily done a single pack with just the 'Joker' like they did the sculpted hair Ledger one for about $400.

Yeah Idk if I feel like spending $1200 on the deluxe, but it does look worth it two figures with two diorama bases is cool but NRD being $200 would be a bit of a pain. You could always sell your place later but paying it off would be cumbersome but I guess you have time to do so since I doubt we'll see it this year. Well guess this is one of those times for me to say "**** it"

I gave in and got the Deluxe from kit. Not the biggest Joker 2019 fan but his performance was very well captivating anyway. The shelf presence will be insane with the two and I’m excited to have both not just the red suit joker actually. The tailoring and headsculpt of the Arthur Fleck is really well sculpted and put together.

I wouldn’t normally buy it but if it’s THE ultimate joker that we will have for a while? No doubt I can’t miss out on this. I can’t see how the headsculpt can better much better than what’s shown. It’s pretty much $1000 for two rooted figures and two bases. Thats even better value than their Heath Joker. More distinctive looks plus different bases?? I could’ve not pulled a trigger on this.

Wonder how long before HT announce this…

Pretty much on the final page. I don't see any tax applied for both the deposit and full price. Is it popping up for others?

Loks good, but I'll wait a while before deciding. Pricing is a bit wonky. I'll probably get the deluxe since the TE clown suit Joker is serviceable enough.

I saw the trailer and looked back at the two and couldn’t resist. It’s too good of a set to pass up. I also don’t need 4 versions of this character so this 2 pack will be perfect for me. DO IT!

Personally waiting to see what sort of split set Kit offers, if any, but I’ll definitely be ordering the deluxe if not.
