From what I’ve seen, the translucent red looks way better than just the flat paint job. The red on the Ric pops but the translucent looks better to me. But then, the Ric lights up and I forget all about that.

Yeah, at this point they’re gone. But I’m sure they’ll both be back on the G-Store at some point this year. They always bring figures back.
The standard version is sold out too, but I’d keep an eye on BBTS and jump on the waitlist on Sideshow.

I used to hate Shin's appearance, but over the past few months it's suddenly grown on me. Looks so strange and alien. Scary when he's lit up for the atomic breath.

I will torture my wife for her clearance/permission.
This also happened to me.. at first I was like, what with that sickly-looking Gojira?!
But then I watched the movie and I realized.. that it is actually the product of radiation, toxic, and he's constantly in pain.
It all made sense to me, and the visual is the most horror-looking goji ever, which turned my hate to love!
You know, after talking to you so much, I think we are starting to think alike
because if that translucent figure gets released again I’m buying it and keeping it. It’s just too beautiful!

I’m also preparing my wallet for the babies (as my girlfriend calls them)! GForever said they were going to release right after the New Year. Finally! I’ve been waiting since Q2 2023 for Form 2 and Form 3.

I'm hoping for a Minus One that size, it's bound to happen sooner or later.
I guarantee to that X-Plus is going to drop a gigantic. Prime 1 announced Minus One statues but that might be a little too expensive for me.
Remember how much Shin merch came out and it got to the point where people were getting tired of it? Prepare yourself. “Oh yeah that’s great, but do we need another Shin? (The answer is always yes.)” I think we are going to be swamped with Minus One merch over the next year or two.
