Hi, Finally got my amateur hands to use on the DSLR and took these in-hand pics of my Maximus statue standing proudly in my collection. Awesome sculpture and paintjob.

What could possibly happen in the Prequel... I mean, I suppose it could explore why the alien spaceship crash landed. Come to think of it, this could be very good indeed.

Great pics indeed... Wish I had one too but cant justify that kind of money on a collectible.

Thanks for the comments guys. It was painted by a guy called 'Mat Scrivens', based in Shefield, England. His forum name on the statue forum is 'logan25'. Reinhardt, I agree that the neck seemed too long, which is why Mat bulked out the neck and muscles for me. Im sorry you didnt notice it :(

Re: Uruk Hai PF- NOW Available, link to buy in 1st Post. I have kids so would never be able to display this. And I have the Weta version already. However, this is one beatifully sculpted piece. Well done Sideshow, my faith in you has been restored.

Im beginning to think Sideshow use the same exact mould for all their PF bodies, unless its bare off course (eg. Leonidas). In this case, using the standard polystone body and sticking a decently sculpted head and fitted clothes to it was a bad idea.

Now that looks 100 times better...

I actually like the exclusive as its a decent PF statue for a change, rather than a PF doll (polystone vs cloth). Didnt like the movie much but loved the character so will keep this pre-order just in case I change my mind in keeping it.

Firefly is the worst cancel decision ever. And Duckman, I loved that show !!! Only really started watching Simpsons in the last few years and I really didnt get what the hype was all about. Alas, it seems it should have been cancelled years ago !!!
