    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

Krytox (perfluoropolyether) is the answer if you're concerned and haven't already contaminated/damaged ED with Mod Podge, silicone grease or 303. Krytox GPL105 is expensive, but it will not react in any negative way with plastics or natural and synthetic elastomers. A tiny amount is all ED...

    Hot Toys ED-209 MMS204 *RUBBER DETERIORATION* Discussion/Pics

I'm not trying to quell anything, I'm just saying that what we are seeing is a complex reaction as a result of chemicals being released from heat affected styrofoam packaging.

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

No cracking on either of mine. I'll bet the accelerated aging and premature cracking is caused by the Styrofoam packaging. Styrofoam can emit ozone and volatiles when exposed to heat. These substances when trapped in the packaging will start a chain reaction that will cause the plasticizer to...

    Hot Toys ED-209 MMS204 *RUBBER DETERIORATION* Discussion/Pics

I'm not using anything on mine. Make sure you avoid anything that contains hydrocarbons like mineral oil, etc. Check the products MSDS if you're unsure about it's contents.

    Hot Toys ED-209 MMS204 *RUBBER DETERIORATION* Discussion/Pics

Still no indications of deterioration on either of mine. My theory on the small batch of damaged figures: The accelerated aging and premature cracking is caused by the Styrofoam packaging. Styrofoam can emit ozone and volatiles when exposed to heat. These substances when trapped in the packaging...

It's magnificent 100% stock! I'm not even bothering with the decals.

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

I can clearly see the results of you turning good design into bad. You're right, it isn't a debate, you got a defective arm if yours can't do something everyone's can. I can show you movie stills where the target pod is pointing at a different angle than your pic. When discussion comes up...

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

Thanks for confiming that. I'll post some unofficial decals I found later. Well, you must have a defective part, because both my ED's (including the V1) pods fully stow as they were designed, and there are countless photos that show the exact same thing. Further more, the "stair step" you...

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

I couldn't find any shots in the movie where a warning triangle is visible on the left leg of any version of ED either. We don't see it, but it's possible there was on the 1:1. The Horizon kit had decals for both legs. What you've been saying doesn't proves the figure is wrong, but it is...

    Enterbay - 1/4 scale RoboCop 3

Suck it up. It's from the Robocop 3 license, so that's what it is.

    Enterbay - 1/4 scale RoboCop 3

3 is so dated that it almost makes 1 and 2 look like they were made yesterday. 2 is still a fun movie, but 3 is still a bridge way too far.

    Enterbay - 1/4 scale RoboCop 3

Get a grip, I've only made 4 posts. Get all defensive with Enterbay for promising you Robocop and giving you Robocop 3 instead. I'll talk about decals all day long if I choose, you have 0 say in it it's actually Anthropoid with the decal fetish , so get your facts straight.
