Kaustic Plastik 2018 PREVIEW! The Romans are back!!

Yeah, I agree. We've had the Celts, now I think something of a different flavour is required. Instead of 4 Romans, perhaps give us a German, Persian, Macedonian, A Carthaginian Heavy Spanish Infantry, Thracian, and I think too that the ACI Classical Hoplite can be improved upon. Diversity would...

Kaustic Plastik - William - Scottish Highlander - 1300 AD

Yes there was some pics of the Gaul up ages ago but no word since. I've been waiting patiently for it and hoping it will be announced soon. Prototype pieces looked wonderful.

    Asmus Toys: Witch-king figure

Just received mine today. Have to say I was initially hesitant of the weathering from the photos already posted, in hand it looks absolutely amazing and I'm very happy with him.

Nature of market for 1:6 scale figures

I have zero interest in 1/12 and I'm confident I'm not alone. I'm not a speculator, I collect because I like 1/6. If prices get too expensive it's simple I'll spend my cash with another manufacturer who meets my demands.

Nature of market for 1:6 scale figures

Your examples of Gucci, Rolex or Ferrari - consumers pay a premium for a brand, that's all. They are all luxury items at upmarket prices, which narrows their market. Ferrari for example have a subsidiary, FAIT which caters for lower end market. As for technology, I expect 3D printing to have...

    Asmus Morgul Lord unbox !

It's one of the KP bodies, should be good.

    An idea for Sideshow.

Thank you. Perhaps in the future we will see this happen as figure prices continue to drive up. It in theory should cater to a wider market. Two companies already confirmed that from next year they will be selling carded sets, Kaustic Plastik and Asmus Toys.

    Asmus Morgul Lord unbox !

Well, on second review I think I was a bit hasty with this. I think this will look great on a shelf, just a really cool figure.

    An idea for Sideshow.

Can I ask why posters thing this will never happen? Can't understand why more companies don't do this, has to make sense from a business perspective.

    Asmus Morgul Lord unbox !

I'm a little worried now that the weathering has gone just a little bit too far....

Nature of market for 1:6 scale figures

I'll tell you this, some of the recent figures are getting close to the threshold where I will just refuse to buy any new figures. I imagine there are a good few like me who will just not be able to afford it any more, no matter how good the figures will be. There is no way I'll ever spend over...
