I wouldn’t t say it’s a 100% chance. There may be some interest for a new version but the first version took like 3 years to sell out and a vast majority of the people willing to drop nearly a grand on one just did so recently. That limits part of the market.

I find this observation to be spot on. I did not even consider the first version when it initially went up for order as I couldn't justify the $825 cost given other expenses/priorities. But circumstances can change over time, and a couple of years later (@March of this year) I could easily justify the $950 shipped price I paid for it. Given the current market, I now think I got a heck of a deal. That said, there's no way I'd consider getting another one. I'd consider the jack hammer arm if it could be retrofitted to my HB, but a 2nd figure is out of the question.

I would not say i would never buy another one but if i did it would have to be a lot more than a new arm. A very battle damaged armor like they did with the Avengers VII would be a great start. Completely BD top to bottom with paint, dents, missing or broken parts, etc. They could even toss in a beat up elevator :lol

To double dip at the price a V2 would cost (and as much room as it takes up) it would be it would have to really REALLY impress me somehow.

The proto thy used for the hulk v jackhammer arm(arm was swapped out one day and I can’t find pics of it) from a couple years ago was super BD painted.

That Yellow Jacket was a cool figure. I remember wondering with my bro at SDCC, “wasn’t there something else at the booth on preview night???” They snatched him down and that thing was never seen again. R.I.P. awesome toys headed to Howard’s private collection :rip

That right there... that's the pose I'd like to put Hulk in in a Hulkbuster display... but I don't know of any Hulk figure stands that would allow that.... anyone?

I'm actually having one made currently, but I work in museums and have good connections to excellent mount makers -- no hole in Hulk needed for mine. I'll post pics once I have it all set up.

So a guy on facebook just posted these photos. He is taking his HB apart and planning to make molds of all the parts and re-cast them in die-cast.

If he screws up he says he still has two more HB sealed in the box.

His money and his HB so i won't say what i think but it's cool to see all the parts of this (this is not all photos he posted).

Look, Hot Toys is never going to make another fully articulated Hulkbuster. Period.
You wanna know why?
Because we are at the top of the market for all business. This 10 year bull market is finally coming to an end and all the money will dry up after New Year. Interest rates are going up...no one is buying homes or cars like before and everything has reached unsustainable prices.
Be grateful if you are the few who were able to buy such an incredible figure that will never have a comparable in probably another decade or more.
Thank you Hot Toys and goodnight.
As for the rest of you guys who were to chickens#$t to pull the trigger 3 years ago on a preorder...F U....LOL.
I apologize...at the end of another Halo Top ice cream and Raising Kaines chicken finger binge....sh&$t’s good son...like crack.

So you're saying the bubble is about to burst and there will be far less high end collectibles... would be interesting to see, but i don't think it will slow down any time soon. Didn't people think this a few years ago but look at the crazy prices we pay for statues in particular

Ladies and gents Hulkbuster 1.0 sellers are likely very disappointed now.

*insert Michael Scott laughing gif*

I’d say it’s time to watch eBay for deals, but offering the expansion pack might keep the prices up there or at least at retail. Don’t think I’ll be able to say no to this a second time. Damn you Hot Toys....

What an ******* move...lmao

Luckily I don’t buy these as a source of investment so I’m not concern with the resell prices dropping, the OG HB will probably just settle at retail which isn’t bad anyways, because this one will be significantly more expensive, I expect a 1300-1400 pricetag for a new arm....good riddance to those of you willing to pay that high for a HB.
