MIII - VII's helmets look similar, I wonder when this is released one can interchange the MVI diecast's helmet to this MVII, I'd feel tempted with one of the spare heads.

If they use the same paint and don’t fix this then I’d probably use a VII helmet too

Is the launch pod a separate accessory or somehow a part that fits onto the figure?

It fits on by removing the head and arms. It then attaches to the upper body somehow. It also shares the chest plate for the transformation.

Totally agree. It's just a fun bit of trivia. Heck the movie isn't accurate to itself....the Mark 6 helmet is used in the Mark 7 suit up sequence.

I would take the pictures to instagram or facebook, with the ever helpful red circles around the problem area to highlight the issue, but I don't know how much bearing it would have on what they decide to do

Well, this was on my wish list for a long time, but now that it is here not sure I'll get it... may have priced me out; especially with so many other figures on pre-order right now....

But... does any know if the red "rib flaps" on the body under the arms come off like in the older versions...

I really like this end of the movie look (I know the new on is not as battle damaged) where more gold shows and the missiles has all be used up. For the price I would want to get ALL the options and none of the pics show it without the red flaps.

Doesn’t appear to have without red flap option. Who knows if that was a pic/ description they forgot to show? I doubt they reenginered a whole new figure just a few tweaks so maybe closer to release they will show that feature. Technically the shoulder boosters should pop off as well for this end look scene.

I think the shoulder parts do have a "removable" option...


Looks like we have no info on if just the red flaps on the body under the arms to reveal the gold section are removable?

Thanks for the pic didn’t see that.. I’m sure hot toys will make those flaps removeble. When it comes to iron man they are pretty good for the most part about getting all those details.

I think the pod chest piece has removable panels so i assume the figure does too.

EDIT: Yeah it's shown without them but can you spot the goof?
