I guess it depends on how you want to display Rocket. The IW version adds $125 to the price, but you only get the one gun, one head, and then the hands/feet. If you want the head with the teeth instead, you might be better off getting the GOTG2 deluxe since you get that second head along with two pistols, an aerorig, and machine gun. If you only want the screaming head and a weapon, get the two pack since you’ll save $40-$100 depending on how much you’d get the GOTG2 version for.

Yeah, I suppose really the two pack makes more sense from a price stance. Kinda wish the new version had the neutral sculpt for Rocket though.

I bought a neutral Vol. 2 Rocket head with the intention of getting the IW Rocket/Teenage Groot.

Prices on them are not bad right now. But I’d do it sooner than later since prices will only go up in the future.

The only one I seem to be finding is like $57 on eBay. There are cheaper ones but I think it’s the one from the first figure.

I just got an email from Sideshow saying the Groot and Rocket 2-Pack is arriving early,
now changed to Aug-Sept 2018. Incoming soon at Secret Base?

Looking at video reviews of the previous HT Rockets, they both seem to have an issue with the tail easily falling off when bent down. Does anyone think Hot Toys will fix that with this release?

I've never had that issue with my Vol 2 Rocket.

I really dont think it is that big of an issue. It is on a ball joint, so it can pop off... but the ease of doing that is really pretty minor.

Mine is fine as well.
Just wish HT would have given us a slightly different Rocket so we can have an excuse to get one.
Already got the GOTG 2 version.
