It's not 1/6 scale but the SH Figurearts Padme probably has a decent Natalie Portman. And it came with 2 sculpts. HT should be able to surpass it.

Damn. I was really prepared to be wowed by that reveal. I guess we'll have to be patient and enjoy what's already on the show floor.

Somebody on one sixth society's facebook page said she was pulled from SDCC due to "licensing". I took that to mean she's done but since she has no helmet they can't blur her headsculpt out so they can't show her till that sculpt is fully approved

I would love to have her in this outfit to be honest. I mean, she is technically a Disney Princess and Hot Toys did release Belle from Beauty and the Beast (which sold very well). I just hope she goes up for pre order very soon, the Geonosis outfit will definitely be the version we are getting. Also, with so many outfits of Padme I wouldn't mind if Hot Toys released several like they do with Ironman, though it's very unlikely to happen.

Comes down to how well the first version sells. If she’s at least to the level of Leia’s sales, they’ll continue making them I’m sure. She has far too many looks throughout the PT to only make one.

I hadn't considered that. Actually a pretty good guess considering we're probably getting Qui Gon soon as well. Maybe even an Ep 1 Obi at some point.

Part of me would wants her Ep 2 outfit since it's more "iconic", but I feel like an Episode 3 outfit would be cool just so I can put it with HT Anakin lol.. The issue is all her Ep3 outfits were pretty meh.. Unless we get HT 9 month pregnant Padme

This would be my 2nd choice after the arena version. She had lots of interesting costumes though. Her fireside gown in AOTC was her 'Bespin Gown' moment.
I would buy all 3 of these mentioned.

It makes business sense to release the most popular version of the character first. I will be shocked if this figure turns out to be anything other than Padmé in exposed midriff disguise.
