Prolly Magic's first dumb mistake. You give up Randle for nothing to sign another guy who can't shoot? He knows Hou and GS are in the West right? If your going to let Randle go, at least replace him in a Kawhi trade. I saw Randle play quite a bit last year. He showed a lot of promise. He could've been a tough 15/8 guy coming off the bench. I just don't get that one, nor can anyone else.

Lakers are playing the “long game”; if they can’t swing a trade for Kawhi this season, by renouncing Randle, they’re creating cap space to try and sign Kawhi next season...or maybe go after KD, who signed a one and one this year.
With LeBron agreeing to a four year deal instead of his usual one and ones, the Lakers can afford to be patient.

It really is a genius move by Cousins. Teams weren’t willing to give him big money coming off his Achilles injury. He says “Eff you”, I’ll sign with GS for the mid-level exemption, win a championship this year, and get my money next year. Even if he doesn’t regain his prior form, teams will be willing to pay him just to get him away from and to weaken Golden State.

With all the moves today it looks like another basketball regular season we don't have to pay attention to.

Lebron is 33 man, can't be playing any long games. They could've traded him next year if they needed to. He's a really good player. KD could've gone to LA this year if he wanted to and those are easy titles to win in GS while they are together and healthy. I don't see him ever leaving until the things actually get hard for GS, then he'll bolt.

No point in watching bball this season. I don't care how anyone tries to spin it about Cousins and his injury but this move to an already made championship team is just silly. Even coming back from an injury he's light years better than West, Zaza, or McGee. Not to mention there is less pressure on him to rush and play 100% since he's got 4 (5 if you count Iggy) other all stars next to him holding his hand.
The only teams that had a chance next season were the Rockets and Celts depending on how they gel together with Kyrie/Gordon.
Lbj and the bonehead crew aren't doing anything this season. Maybe next if the get Leonard and a third. Who's after that? Okc lol?

Hous would've beaten GS if they had Paul and they had the worst offensive game plan I've seen from a team. LA doesn't need anyone outside of Leonard if they don't have to give up Kuzma. I really hate this we can't beat them, so I'll join them mentality. Cousins could've gotten that 1yr contract from a lot of contending teams.
