The first thing that comes to my mind is the Leia/ Mary Poppins scene from Episode VIII. Man, that was disgusting. This consolidates the idea that I won't see any decent movies anytime soon from Alien/ Predator/ Terminator franchises. I refuse to watch anymore crap like this so the good memories I have will remain unaltered.

Well, ancient T-800 has been no less ridiculous to watch when you think about it.

I don't know what they're going to do in this film - there has been pictures released of an Arnie 'body double' and a kid who has seemingly been made to look like Edward Furlong's John Connor. Will that be Sarah Connor having flashbacks to T2 or actual time travel to those events like Genisys time-travelled to 1984?

Hey Terminator fans

So a while back I did a hot toys ED-209 repaint which I posted in the ED-209 forum. Now I’ve started a new project!

Recently I came across an old beat up ex-display Neca 18” Endo which I got for like 30 us bucks, though it was missing the plasma rifle. So I thought I would give it the same treatment as my ED repaint.

I know a lot of modders out there completely re-sprayed the figure to make it look chrome but I’ve decided just to do touch up with brush work only, working with the original figure paint base....mainly just coz I’m a bit toooo lazy to take it apart and re-spray it to be honest.

Anyway here’s some WIP (you can see the original untouched leg) would still like to make those default bullet holes look better, more localised weathering with some texture and eventually make a base for it like others have done so well.

Excuse the blue shade, think it’s the blue light in corner of my room heh.

Chrome would tend to be better for an endoskeleton but I accept your reasoning for not doing that


I think you've done an excellent job. The stock appearance is horrendous, I have it but just can't bring myself to display it. I would if it looked like yours.

I saw that and I tried to give you rep for it but had apparently repped you too recently.

Ever since photobucket went to ***t I haven't been using GIFs much - I could start using them via imgur but I've just gotten out of the habit and haven't been posting a great deal lately anyway.

The 'never say never' bit is hopeful despite the overall downer note of his post. It's hopeful because of what we now know - they made the endo-arm in the container and it was intended for a purpose other than an accessory set - now, that could just be yet another T-800 release but we know and they know it'd better suit a John Connor figure and T-800s can sell without accessories like that.

I'd like to think Randy answers questions like this so as to make us more appreciative when they eventually do make the requested character - sorta like Morgan Freeman in Batman Begins ''I just wanted you to know how hard it was''

I personally pray each night before bed that they make a JC figure. Not because I want one, but because, at this point, I just really think a-dev deserves it. I think most people in the Aliens & Robots forum would agree.

I call it now new Terminator movie is a box office success and NECA makes the new young JC and ignores the original.

Cameron then does a Lucas and inserts new JC over original JC in T2 so that they match lol

I saw this on my favorite Japanese website. If you place an early order for the Great Twins 1/12 Terminator figure, you get a bonus arrival figure. Could be just a static PVC figure. Not sure if it's T2 or T1 looking at hairstyle. Hopefully, this shows up cheaper elsewhere, because $185 is pretty steep.

there's more to judge by than a haircut. in T2 his back was much flatter, and he kept his feet a lot closer to each other.
