I got this guy too.

There was a time when I thought I would never get an Iron Man.

Now there we go... arrives this week.

It's your fault guys, you such good toy photographers.
 
Rear magnet on top of head was loose, and glued it back onto helmet cover not recognizing the polarity until 24hrs later. Was going to pry the magnet off by realize damage to helmet cover would be high, so decided to open the head and switch the magnet inside. Not too challenging but did take couple of tries due to strength of the magnet and it’s desire to attach itself to the solder for the LED wiring.

All in all a good lesson and appreciate Hot Toys engineering due to number of parts required just for the head.

Thinking to keep the regular version over the EX since it will be arriving sooner. Anyone that has the EX care to chime in with their feelings on the exclusive light up helmet?

Well, since 99% of the time the lights are off on my figures, my bonus helmet is still in the box. Over time I'll likely forget I even have it. :lol
 
I'm fairly certain that's what I would do as well.

A reviewer said that it's smaller than the included heads that actually attach to the figure. If so, that's an odd choice.
 
How come everyone says this doesn't come with a Stark sculpt? It does -- but just the face inside the helmet.

Do people want the poofy hair, feel cheated without the mane? :lol

wouldn't mind another go at the older style stark. If civil war headsculpt is any indication they've zeroed in on his likeness. And again my purpose would be to put a Stark Sculpt on it and have him hold the light up helmet like he does briefly in the quinjet. Can't exactly have him hold the helmet while he's wearing a helmet :lol
 
I get it, and there's so many options for his likeness online... seems a shame to pass on the VI because he's "in helmet".

I don't think I'd even pose Iron Man with RDJ's face showing personally. I like the suit.
 
Yeah, Yoshi's comparative pics rock.

I never noticed the smallish head on the 45 until now, especially against the VI. I still prefer the 45 to the 46 though. Not sure why.

Hey Yoshi... if you got nothing to do -- :) -- how about a side-by-side of the 45 vs. 46...?
