For better or worse, he's one on the main villains of the prequels. He's the main villain in TPM and secondary villain in both follow ups. He has more screen time than most Star Wars villains. Also, as much as the films bother me, the designs for the Trade Federation ships/droids/Nemoidians, are among my favourite SW designs. Had the same designs been used in a better film we'd all love them.

You got to love him. He's always yelling for Padme's head. :lol

I'd like him reclining in his walking-chair. "Take-a them away." His TPM appearance was his best outfit.

I'd consider Gunray if he came with the same voice action as ANH Darth Vader. His lines in TPM are just too priceless. Another gem - "No need to report that to him until we have something to report." and of course "WHAAAAAAAAAT?"

The Hasbro Jango was quite feature-packed back in the day:

When Hell Freezes Over: Jar Jar, Nute Gunray, Rose Tico

Yet again Rose is relegated to Jar Jar status!

He does utter one of the the most nonsensical lines of dialogue ever delivered in a movie - "They must be dead by now; destroy what's left of them."

Another gem - "No need to report that to him until we have something to report." and of course "WHAAAAAAAAAT?"

And not from Nute, but classic nonetheless: "If they find us, they will smash us, grind us into tiny pieces and blast us into oblivion!"

Mute Gunmate was the perfect example of why the PT was so bad.....

The voice acting was so amateurish.......and almost racist. Much like Jar Jar

All the needed to do to fix it as have Home speak an alien language and subtitle it.

Somehow George wanted all the aliens speaking heavily accented English ....it was so stupid.

I can see the appeal.

Nothing wrong with what he said. He doesn't want any evidence remaining.

We do love them. Just because we have the vocal middle aged fans bashing everything not OT doesn't mean the other films are not loved.

Please no. How many times will you listen the same clips? That is a very bad idea.

Yeah, no voice, such a wasted thing for any figure really. And can imagine the premium charges for the thing...

What HT needs more then anything is light up features that have a remote control.....so you don’t have to take apart the figure for the lights to work.

"George, you can type this ****, but you sure can’t say it" - Harrison Ford

I'm pretty sure Wor-Gar would be willing to pay $349.99 for a Nute that says "Process Them".

You don't even need subtitles, just a normal speaking voice, Nute was great in Clone Wars, but of course it sounded nothing like the movies.

If he's lounging in his walking-chair, count me in. :D

I couldn't believe in 1999 that Jar-Jar got so much flack as a racist caricature, yet somehow Nute (and for that matter Watto) was not noticed. TPM is so racist it gives Disney's "Song of the South" a run for its money.

I definitely remember Nute Gunray and Watto being called out as racist caricatures back in '99. It boggles the mind to imagine all that dialogue being recorded without a single person going "uh...is anyone else worried about this??" :lol

Yeah, I guess I remember rumblings, but it seemed most defeaning with Jar-Jar though.

That would be the Deluxe version at only $419.99.

OK, that's too high. I'd wait for ebay and save big $$$ when no one picked him up.

Why didn't Lucas just use alien languages with subtitles like Jabba and Greedo? Would have avoided the unintended racism and given C-3PO something to do. The creative choices in the PT make no sense to me. There are legit reasons ppl hate these movies.
