Anyway, the whole show and night felt very anti men. There was like a weird vibe and tone. Also, when the Native American actor was talking about serving in the military, and honoring the US war films, all those liberals in the audience were so hesitant to applaud the guy. They spent the whole show patronizing blacks and women, and when the ONLY Native American actor (one of the few working in the Hollywood that is championing diversity) goes out there and is proud and patriotic, the audience is very quiet.

I noticed the anti-male vibe as well for the parts that I watched. Especially after Emma Stone announced the nominees for Best Director. Was Del Toro supposed to apologize for winning?

A lot of big names missing, which became evident when they did that pointless segment and went to a theater to surprise the "regular every day people" with the celebrities handing out food, except it was Armie Hamer and Mark Hamill, and it's like who give a ****? Where's DiCaprio or Tome Cruise?

I was pretty surprised that they allowed Demi Moore's quote from A Few Good Men about respecting the military soldiers who stand on a wall to be included in the military segment. I've got to imagine that someone got fired for that one, lol.
