Really no interest on paying for this line- they will jack up prices on every IW figure and wait for the line to form...not me

Especially since Avengers 3 and 4 are still going to dwell with IW . Sorry Iron Spider and maybe Cap for me from this film and that’s it. There will be many different versions of these characters in the next four years in film to justify collecting the prices for this particular film line.

Those who will collect the entire line for this film ..good luck :lecture

...and in two years the $500 barrier will be reached

Absolutely.

And we'll hear the same complaints we have since "high end" 1/6th went from $50 to $79...

"They've priced themselves out of the market"

"I'm done!"

"This is unsustainable"

Somehow OCD collectors find the money. They always have.

When do we as collectors finally say no to these price gouges? This figure just isn't worth the price.
I'm not even considering this anymore strictly because of the price, but that's all I can do. I'm sure it'll be a couple more years at least before the price hikes start to ward off the people with alot more expendable cash than me. It's got to hit a breaking point eventually, right? I've only been into Hot Toys for a few years and the rise in prices in just that short amount of time is crazy.

It really isn't worth it, especially when they charged $50 less for basically the same figure (just a different Mark) not even a year ago. There's no reason for it.

I cannot speak for anybody else.. but prices are exactly the reason i have stopped being so active in buying hot toys.. when is enough enough?

Wow at that price, definitely not buying this or collecting the whole line now. It sucks but I think the end of HT collecting is approaching for me, it's like Play Arts and their ridiculous prices all over again, I bought tons of those but dropped them fast when they hit over $100 average.

Like me- but in the last year I have limited buying new and really try to buy used figures on the Sale thread ....save alot of dollars that way and get basically like new figures.

And I am out... It was a fun run, but on Hot Toys end, and for Sideshow, the line has been drawn. They have to hit the wall at this point. I fully expect people to be getting out of the game and dumping their collections. For now I plan to be happy with what I have gotten to this point....which is too much. I will keep looking, but no way can I justify this pricing, and will have to enjot them from afar, until thet come to their senses, and people speak with their wallets. These things are perishable goods after all, fading and cracking with time. We as customers are just being irresponsible with our money at these prices, at least joe average like myself who aren't pulling in six figures.

there is no way to justify 407$ on this ... just insane...

I wonder.. is there hope that they just put the wrong number in? *sigh*.

and I thought it was already expensive enough in the first place.

Ht has set this new pricing structure- it's IW and they can gouge all they want as they see this as the peak of the Marvel movies and possibly peak popularity- so it's now or never for them. Maybe they have seen the sales starting to dip in their lines and are going for one huge cash grab before it all collapses

i'm so disgusted with hot toys... i just cant get over this

Same, its got me thinking about cancelling the rest of my preorders. If I'm not going to keep collecting, then why even bother with any of them anymore.
Just cancelled my Killmonger preorder. Gotta think about the other 2 I have ordered.

The sad thing is I’m sure there are customizers that can probably make their own version of IW IM with the LEDs like this at half the cost of this HT version :lecture

Let the greed begin ! Glad I got the Mk46.

How is this $50 USD higher than the MK 6 DC? Just cause? Glad I think it looks like ass, but not a good sign for figure prices on the horizon.
