I'm liking the head sculpt in the new images more than the prototype. I have the Sideshow Palpatine(s) and I'm okay with those, but the lightning effects sure look awesome on this!

Yeah I considered that but then I’m missing that Shao Khan / Final boss vibe [emoji6] I’m just glad payment is coming out in 2019 lol

You need to re-read the text on the image you quoted.

I have my doubts about whether or not the sculpt changed, so I used Photoshop to tweak one of the "Ed Harris" pics from earlier in this thread. All I did to the face was add some color under the eyes. Then I re-worked the hood to make it more of triangle. It makes a difference, but I still can't tell if they changed the sculpt at all for the new promo pics.

No matter what, the new Hot Toys promo pics certainly make this figure look a whole lot better than it had in previous images.

Surprised there’s no two pack for the Royal Guards. I want them but at $205 each I don’t know. Emperor is first priority at this point. I was hoping for a two pack at a bit of a discount like previous Trooper type characters.

I'm surprised too. I really expected two pack, it was no brainer. But nothing. I'll pick one and hopefully second one on secondary market for a more decent price.

Looks more like a repaint and screen accurate studio lighting (as opposed to SDCC type lighting and camera flashes.) Looks a lot better but this fig was an obvious one to do a second headsculpt for like SSC did. Wouldn't be so reliant on the one head to get the job done.
