Not terribly interested in the gantry, so placed an order for the figure on BBTS, will mull it over for now. Still my favorite armor & the original figure is what got me into 1/6 scale collecting to begin with.

Yeah, I'm on the fence with the gantry. Since BBTS doesn't have an NRD on the non-gantry version, I ordered that one for now. I don't see the gantry version selling out any time soon, so I'll think that one over.

It'd be nice if they include the split helmet that some customizers have made for the gantry

Bit torn at the moment, I want to dump my whole $200 sideshow rewards onto this and flexpay over 8 months but based on the Hulkbuster experience
1. Shipping to Australia is gonna cost a bomb given the weight of both the gantry and diecast figure
2. If anything happens to AUD when it ships, the total might go over AUD1000 and I have to pay customs duty again

Might have to pay RRP at Popculture for this one, any fellow Aussies/Kiwies with the same dilemma?

Ordered with the gantry...I've been searching for one of the old ones for a bit, no need to now! I missed out on the original so this was a no brainer for me...now the question remains, I know a diecast VII is inevitable, but do they release a new Mark 1? I don't know whether to wait or pick up the 2.0 version.

I ordered. I didn't get into this until The Avengers. The Mk VII was my first suit. Even in plastic that's still a great figure. I missed the first gantry, so now it's on order. Everything else except Spider-Man and the Mk II will be paid off by then anyway, so the flex pay with rewards points wasn't too bad. I don't even care about the wait.

MarvelZombie - They've already done a 2.0 on the Mk I. I really doubt that will see another release. Maybe they'll do an Iron Monger 2.0.

Im wondering the same. I got into the game late, but with having all of the original 7 released so far I'm wondering if they will do the MK1 again or if I should just grab it whenever I xan

I think they could get a diecast MKI out. I’m confident they will release the hall of armor again as well at some point. That HOA is my pipe dream to go back in time and get more bays. Didn’t realize they would produce so few of them and I refused to buy any of the beer koozy HPP styrofoam bays.:lol

I didn’t know if I should put a figure or a beer in those things.

They will more than likely make a DC MKI. I doubt that the fact that they made a 2.0 MKI will affect their decision to make a DC version.
They made the MK2 Armor Unleashed version which is basically a 2.0, and they are making a DC MK2. I think that the chances that
they will make a DC MKI are greater than the chances that they won't.

I went back to see what I paid originally for the first Mark IV with gantry. $449.99 on 6/6/2012. It retailed $499 so the diecast Mark IV is driving the price up roughly $136 dollars. That $635 is really not a bad price hike from about six years to the time this will finally release to get the die cast version.

Just PO him from my local store(few times I thank that HT is asia based thus cheaper retail here) and couldn't be more excited!
This year marks my start of the IM 1/6 collection and the MkIV and gantry is my first PO! Looking forward to the rabbit hole!

Boy that is one New Year Resolution. When you get your first armor in hand, it will only get worse from there. :)

I started collecting ironman since last year but they were mainly busts, helmets and 1/4 scale. This year gonna cut down to 1/6 and save up as my family is increasing in numbers [emoji28]

It will be interesting to see how they do the DC on a MKI. The 2.0 is just a truetype body with thin armor (plastic) over it and lots of open spaces (he should have died a dozen times over in that scene :lol). I would guess that (like all HT DC that are mostly plastic) they will add weight to the truetype body and toss a couple DC parts on the thicker armor areas, update the HS and call it a day. I doubt articulation would be improved much just because of the thick clothing.

I’ve got the Mark VI on the way and even though the IV is pretty similar, I’m definitely contemplating going all out for this one. My wallet...
