Why is it that whenever I see an MGS collectible that's obscenely overpriced (like 5 times the high end of market rate), it's almost always from a seller in Japan?

Because they know theyre the only ones that have it and they want your bum to be able to park a car in it to sell it to you.

Wonder how far off the p/o will be for the Gecco cyborg ninja? Really excited for that line to take off... They'll probably reveal unpainted proto at next year's SDCC and late 2018 p/o schedule... they're kinda slow it seems... digging their Dark Souls stuff thus far though.

Anyhoo, heres my latest haul.....got the chase clear naked snake and the konami doll solid snake on the way. if you guys remember i customized my other kdss and used the amnur sculpt on it, i ended up selling it off to someone overseas. i still have the other 3 just sitting in their boxes.

No kidding. I guess they're making money... or they had this in the works before the game came out. As I mentioned, I can't wrap my mind around getting licensing rights NOW after how much the V merch just sits and gets discount after discount.

I didn't care for their first Venom either given they both were made with overly dark skin. Both don't look White.

Eh I'm not big on any of their statues so far, but torso eye candy isn't hurting. I'd be more likely to buy this than Quiet and the other Snake statue. Skin sells. Still rather have the Grey Fox statue though.

Not sure what youre talking about. Mgs2 raiden or mgrr? I just posted a raiden statue that came out last week that has been in the works for a year or so.

Probably eBay. It was my first 1/6 figure back in 2004 and while dated, is still great.

I also recall something of sort, so with a little digging - the company announcing it was actually "Union Creative".
Here's the info on it (announce at Wonder Festival - Feb 2014).

Also announced are four statues by Union Creative International Ltd: Raiden Game Mode Version and Raiden Yoji Shinkawa version, and Snake Game Mode Version and Snake Yoji Shinkawa Version.
