I was late to the game on this one, and have to wait on Vol 2 Star Lord. So decided I may as well also wait on Vol 2 Drax. With some luck he'll have a deluxe version with laughing head sculpt. However if I had them all and just needed Drax I would have got this version. They look great as a team.

People in this sub with regards to how the figure turned out
You know I was pretty underwhelmed by the reveal of this guy, but ended up picking up with the $50 coupon. He is significantly cooler in hand. Not to say there isn't still issues with the body, but he does read as bigger and definitely drax in person.

I just watched a review of the latest HT Superman from B vs S. Why couldn't they have done a body like that for Drax ? Maybe they applied the tattoo engravings to the wrong mould !! [emoji12][emoji12][emoji2][emoji2]

Easily the least impressive Hot Toys figure I own, but at least he looks great with the team. Still wish Hot Toys gave us an extra angry Drax head. His entire character can be summed up in that expression, not the "waiting for the bus" expression we got.

I received and opened my Drax yesterday. The detail on the figure is amazing, but his build is a bit too slight. I'll echo what others are saying that he does look great with the rest of the team.

Got mine yesterday. Definitely far from perfect with the body issues but still solid overall and great to finally get the whole gang together!

Wonder if we'll see Vol2 Drax at SDCC. Gotta be a certainty I'd say. Plus a couple of others I'd be guessin....
Um, I can think of a lot of Hot Toys figures that are a hell of a lot more "un-impressive" than Drax.
Just the sculpting details alone make him a lot nicer than people give him credit for.
While an angry head would have been great, his look is just as stoic as 90% of figures that Hot Toys release.
Personally, after seeing GOTG Vol. 2, I would like a laughing head, lol.
