UPS actually lost this package, I was suppose to get this and Prime 1 AK Harley and only got the Harley statue. Sideshow had to get UPS to put a tracer on the missing package? Anybody go through something like this and have a positive outcome?

Happened with my Aquaman pf. UPS found it and it was sent back to Sideshow. Sideshow sent it back to me couple of weeks later.

Got mine yesterday. Haven't had time to open it yet but the box is huge. It came the same time as Prime 1 AK Harley and both boxes are basically the same size. Can't wait to open both up. Just have to find the time.
Can anyone tell me what size/type battery the light up eyes take. Thanks

I don't have it yet, but nearly all of my statues that require button cell batteries use the LR44.

And I believe the batteries are already included in the piece.

Batteries are included. As mentioned prior, there is a very small clear thin piece of plastic btwn the batteries, remove so the lights will work.

I think that light up features on a statue are a good idea for about 5 minutes and then it's over. The batteries on my Prime 1 Arkham Knight statue are already dead and I have no desire to replace them. The lights look cool, but how many times am I going to turn on the lights for this statue, Arkham Knight, Bale PF etc.... just not for me I guess?

Cool, Sideshow was cool about it, they said they would set another one off to the side for me in case UPS can't find the one they already sent, but it would be 8-10 business days before they could resolve the matter

I love the light up features. I have a soap reactor which replaces the batteries so you can plug them in to a elecrtic outlet. I have almost all my figures with this and never have to worry about batteries dying or leaking and have it all set up with a remote to turn all of them on at once.
The only issue i have is the Soap reactor doesn't work with every size battery. Works with most but i do have one figure that they don't make the correct size adaptor.
I'm happy the Armored Batman should work with it because for me i really think the light up eyes on this one really make it stand out.

Dumb question, but what is a soap reactor, that sounds like it would alleviate my problems with the light up features on statues?

The soap reactor is essentially a battery eliminator.

With the unit you can also purchase many leads depending on the battery type and quantity you're trying to replace in your figure/statue. Just google search.

Only issue, is that the wiring will have to run out of the statue, and this won't be possible for all statues as it could create a noticeable gap. Can't really use it on the 1/4 C-3PO as that opens at the midway point of the head, and pretty much the same I guess with Prime 1's 1/2 Armored Batman. It should be okay with this statue as I believe it is at the neck? And the wire can be hidden with help from the cape as it runs down the back of the statue.

The weird thing is I hear people all the time say they will pass on a piece if it doesn't have light up.

This got delivered while no one was home. I'll call them tomorrow letting know what time to come.

This piece looks killer in hand, love how much it relates back to the comic book source material, would buy in a heartbeat if I didn't already own 3 Batman PFs

You can never have too many Batman PFs.

At last count I had 5 Sideshow 1/4 scales plus a Prime 1 1/3.

I received mine today, the statue is massive in person, the light up feature is really well done, far better than the Bale PF EX. The mouth isn't 100% Affleck likeness but don't pay attention to the photos with heavy lighting, the mouth has a 5 o'clock shadow. It displays nicely. The downsides are the portrait feels plastic and very cheap. The base is even worse, its hollow and looks plastic, particularly the black ring around the rocks. I was shocked at how cheap the base and portrait felt. It's becomes tougher and tougher to invest in these $500 and up PF statues when Sideshow is not delivering a $500 and up product.

^ I have to disagree with you to an extent SS7. While the portrait may feel cheap, remember, it has LEDs, wiring, batteries and an on/off switch in it. All things considered on a piece thats not supposed to be touched its just fine imo. I didnt get those impressions from my base, not like the WW base. Its overall a heavy and solid PF.
