A base would be awesome, indeed.

I believe hulkbuster will have a AAA batteries compartment or an AC adapter for the main lights.

But I still think we'll have some small batteries compartments along the piece.

Or maybe it's already painted an used a black and white filter to hide the paint , since it's just a teaser

That's definitely not a black and white pic, that's simply just an unpainted sculpt, but whatever makes you feel better. :rotfl

I really don't see them having anything AC on this figure, or large type batteries. It will use the small
batteries just like all the other Iron Man figures.

I feel pretty good knowing that is definitely not an unpainted sculpt. But rather a filtered photo :rotfl

I feel great knowing you are wrong :clap

you can already see Weather on some of the parts

As long as you feel better though. :hi5:

Don't they usually paint the parts first then assemble the figure? Maybe this is already painted & the photo was just filtered. Wishful thinking!

It looks pretty heavily filtered. Not sure why that's even a question..

Was it ever determined if this will be weathered or pristine and shiny?

Personally, the mock-ups with weathering would be my preference, but I guess you can always add that later, verses going the other way.

Aside from the very first mk 42 scene and maybe the mk 2, I don't think any of the other armors have been totally pristine. I think the weathered look looks better and seems more accurate.

Same. Pictures I've seen of the prototype appear to show a somewhat dusty weathering that we haven't seen on other IM figures yet, so I'm very unsure if they will actually have that on the final version.

I'm also starting to wonder if the colors from the mk 45 are going to be used from now on. It's odd that they chose them for the 46.. so now I'm wondering if they'll use them for both this and the mk 6. The reds haven't always been perfectly correct, but using the same paint for the 46 is just baffling to me, especially considering how much more accurate the prototype was.

I think the 45 gold would go well on the head of the hulkbuster though.

Waaaaaaay back in this thread when Motu was still posting, I (we?) got into it with him about this. In the film HB's faceplate looks 'electroplated' just like the 45's does at the end of the film (and ya, the 46 should not have this effect). So I'm really hoping they go that route with the final product.
