You could always get this and then just get the accessories/pants parted out if you prefer. Not sure that it would be cheaper in the end but you'd have everything.

GOTG2 was a slight let down. Didn't love it.
I saw it last night too... The movie was Ok, just not as good as the original, nor did it do anything different or unexpected. Just a safe sequel. I was surprised at how well Ego was portrayed, but don't really like that they changed Star-Lords origin to being the son of Ego...
I want Drax in my collection so bad, but like so many others I can't get over the awful body proportions. I've seen HT take some creative liberties when it comes to likeness in the past, but this one is just unforgivable as it is ridiculously obvious.

I just saw it today. I don't think it was a let down, as I thought the plot was a bit more intricate and there were more twists than the first. I actually liked it a bit better than the first, but I'll still be sticking with my first group as my GotG representation in my collection.
The differences between this one and the V2 will be essentially the same differences between the BvS and solo film Wonder Womans, which is basically none. Same body and sculpt, just likely repainted. Different outfit and accessories.

My vid review on the tube...it's getting already blasted with thumb downs...i hope only because of the figure quality. 
You need really to work with the lights to get a bit more bulkiness out of Drax...but overall it's def a purchase that needs to be justified (either being a fan or completionist probably).

I am going to put him in Ravager pants for sure. This way red pair for vol. 1 set, and blue for vol. 2.
BTW, anyone know any more on how I can make time move faster so those of us that didn't get Drax yet, can hurry up and do so?

Yikes, those proportions are all off. Even without that comparison photo it always struck me as off...

Body is a total fail. That's clear. There's no point to defend it to the death.
The main issue is the "trapezius muscle" first. This figure has no correct trapezius muscle duo. Also the neck and shoulders doesn't look real. For total the figure looks so terrible. Very very bad.
HT should produce a whole new body. But they didn't. It's a clear fact.
I see that some youtubers (especially budget stark) tries to legalize many body issues on youtube with invalid reasons and methods (trying to measure the belly of the mk46 with just a regular ruler etc.). It also gives bad reputation to themselves and HT.

Yeah I had to mod the 238 body, not so easy to mod Drax.
Wow. That video makes Drax look even worse than I thought before. Look at how ridiculously elongated his torso and neck is, especially compared to Mike Tyson. Their waists are almost the same height. I wonder if anyone at Hot Toys is familiar with the golden ratio? And the scrawny arms/biceps are inexcusable.
I feel for collectors who are compelled to buy this just to complete their GotG team.

TBH its about 50% of the reason I am. And VOL. 2 version doesn't look much different.
