Premium Format Sideshow Thanos on Throne

This used to be pretty typical for Sideshow, but it's been a while since they had a run like this on a release. A few years ago I placed a second order on the Galactus maquette by mistake and SS cancelled it a week later. A chunk of EX orders will no doubt free up in the next few weeks. Sometimes people get around it by setting up multiple accounts with different addresses and payment methods but hopefully SS will be able to sniff out those trying to game the system. I'd be curious to know how many names are on the WL before it was closed. I'm sure they use some kind of a formula, maybe 2X. Hopefully the EX mostly ends up in the hands of true fans and collectors, myself included . Glad to see they are already uncovering the dupes.

It would also be funny if their are obviously multiple orders on the wait list too. Well at least they are doing this in a fair way.

My point was to give "kudos to SSC for enforcing their rule ...and giving collectors on WL a chance on this".



Who cares if "It's not going to be as many as one might think" ...as long as a few on the WL can get one.

It doesn't matter if "They've always enforced it" ....I'm giving them kudos, regardless.

There really is no point people getting pissed off for not getting the exclusive at all. Disappointed I can understand but the bickering lol is hilarious. AC_808 made a good point giving kudos for SSC at least addressing the issue nothing wrong with that at all. I applaud that too. I've been on wait lists also that didn't convert just to find out later down the line on social media people have 4 to 5 of the same statue. When the household limit is 1 lol. It sucks a lil but that's life.

And to think ...I did get my PO for the EX. But I still felt that SSC eliminating double orders on this was a good thing for the collectors on WL. Even if it might just be a few.

People who ordered day one will get EX option before those on waitlist. This is to weed out the flippers, and give a shot to those committed. I also hear the regular edition may sellout soon. If you waited this long better jump on. 1 head or 2 is still an awesome piece.

Why would they bother having a waitlist if they are going to offer the EX to those who ordered the reg? How is the reg nearly sold out when they haven't established an ES?

I have no idea why people think ordering the reg will somehow get you an ex when / if its available.you missed the ex, u order the reg. you dont want the reg? U hop on the waitlist. Thats all there is to it

I'm curious, where did you get this info? As much as I wish they would give an exclusive option to those committed, and I've committed. In all honesty, I don't think that would be fair to waitlisted people because they were first in line per say. Just because they didn't pay up front, (due to SS waitlist rules) they shouldn't be passed and moved to the back of the line. Don't get me wrong, I would take an exclusive in a heartbeat but, give them the exclusives first. Also, I would think you'd need an ES before you can predict a quick sell out.

They haven't done that with any other statue ever so why would they start a whole new process now?
