I don't think so. I believe I read that they've been getting flagged and taken down. Not sure exactly why but maybe because people are selling multiples or that the PO is a year away and that's an easy way to lose your money. (Paypal only insures you up to 6 months, I think).

None of those items sold. All those auctions got canceled. People reported them bc eBay has policy of not being able to sell preorders over 30 days before receiving it. Or something around those lines

I can't see the image, odd ... but that is good news and good luck to all that were on the WL.

I am still shocked by how many people thought this would not sell out in under an hour ... and even more taken aback by how many people said "screw SS thats way to much I will not order" yet pulled the trigger and ordered anyway .

Hopefully we do not hear complaints of SS raising their prices anymore, clearly people who are against this still pay anyway .

The price has to be warranted. Personally, I thought the sculpt, pose and detail on Thanos was exceptional. I took time the night before PO day to self reflect and determine if the price was something I wanted to pay. Once I determined "yes", then I was determined to get the EX. Only after I saw the website crash that I knew this was going to sell out. So I moved fast to get my PO in.

The Magneto PF will need to be as exceptional ...for it to warrant a similar price. I'm not going to pay a high price if the PF does not meet my expectations.

A fixed portrait seems like a thing of the past. Hell, pieces that only have one portrait are now coming detached and with a unsightly seam. Take a look at the HULK vs Wolverine MAQ. HULK has no COH and comes with a detached portrait. I think SSC is doing that on purpose now. If a statue arrives with a messed up portrait, it's easier (and cheaper) to mail out a replacement head instead of a head and the whole connected body.

It's rare because it's probably easy to have a few portrait painters at the factory and then glue it to the statues when necessary. Seams be damned.

The same way the foam packaging is mass produced with 2 portraits in mind (the hole is there on the box for the regulars) it follows to reason that the head won't be glued on.
