And that's only the beginning it's going to get even more expensive, I'm on an early wl as well on the ex but the only way people will cancel I believe is life or death situation on this, I know there's some that got two or three ex as well on this very lucky for them.

incorrect assumption.

as I said the wolvie comiquette is an example. The exclusive comes with 2 heads but the regular only has 1 head which is attached to the body. rare, but it could happen with thanos to piss everyone off, lol.

Sideshow has already released a statement saying they are cracking down on people ordering multiples. They are manually going through the orders and checking bill info/ect.

So those "extras" that they ordered will be freed up.

Well, for your sake you should hope my incorrect assumption is correct lol. Otherwise that custom is a no go. I just don't see why they would do it with this statue.

This used to be pretty typical for Sideshow, but it's been a while since they had a run like this on a release. A few years ago I placed a second order on the Galactus maquette by mistake and SS cancelled it a week later. A chunk of EX orders will no doubt free up in the next few weeks. Sometimes people get around it by setting up multiple accounts with different addresses and payment methods but hopefully SS will be able to sniff out those trying to game the system. I'd be curious to know how many names are on the WL before it was closed. I'm sure they use some kind of a formula, maybe 2X. Hopefully the EX mostly ends up in the hands of true fans and collectors, myself included :). Glad to see they are already uncovering the dupes.

A fixed portrait seems like a thing of the past. Hell, pieces that only have one portrait are now coming detached and with a unsightly seam. Take a look at the HULK vs Wolverine MAQ. HULK has no COH and comes with a detached portrait. I think SSC is doing that on purpose now. If a statue arrives with a messed up portrait, it's easier (and cheaper) to mail out a replacement head instead of a head and the whole connected body.

I can't see the image, odd ... but that is good news and good luck to all that were on the WL.

I am still shocked by how many people thought this would not sell out in under an hour ... and even more taken aback by how many people said "screw SS thats way to much I will not order" yet pulled the trigger and ordered anyway :gah:.

Hopefully we do not hear complaints of SS raising their prices anymore, clearly people who are against this still pay anyway :cuckoo:.

When SS releases Magneto prepare for $1499.99 boys and girls :rotfl!

I think most of it truly were people playing Jedi mind tricks to increase their chances of P.O. this masterpiece knowing it was going to be gone in the blink of an eye. Lessen the hype, long enough to secure an order :lsvader

I told you guys few pages back , SS is good at finding out this stuff. People forget , SS will cancel all orders if you circumvent the 1 per customer rule

Given the popularity of the character/detail/es/ I could see 3k$ happening for the EX. I'm sure some people might disagree, but you obviously see it happen with the other Throne pieces.
