I wonder if this question has already been asked but does a maquette go along with the Dr. Doom original PF and the XM magneto scale wise. I was always under the impression that maquettes are smaller than premium formats.

Comiquettes are smaller (1/5th scale). Maquettes are usually 1/4 scale.

Actually, MAQs can be in any scale. They aren't 1/4 scale very often from what I can remember. However, this Thanos MAQ is in 1/4 scale according to Igo and Alex over at SSC. So, he should fit in with Doom and Mags. Keep in mind that Thanos is a big boy to begin with and Doom's armor adds a lot of bulk to the character. Mags is just a normal guy in a skin tight costume so he'll be considerably smaller than those 2 characters.

As for the scale to MAQs, it's all over the place. The Sentinel and Galactus MAQ certainly aren't even close to 1/4 scale. The Ghost Rider MAQs are also much smaller than 1/4 scale and the HULK and Wolverine MAQ is 1/5 scale. So, unless a Rep from SSC tells us a MAQ is 1/4 scale, it's not safe to assume MAQs are generally 1/4 scale.

I stand corrected!

Not what I pictured the Throne to look like. Of course I'll need to see a full reveal but from that short clip the Throne reminded me of the Hot Toys Thanos with sort of a slim floating Throne look. Always had pictured a more of Bowen Thanos on Throne. Portrait looks great btw and awesome detail overall!

Oh **** ...love the proportions and the details! The video showed quick views of parts of the statue, but I loved what I saw!

I still want to see the statue as whole to make sure ...but that was nice.

The only thing I am worried about are some of the proportions ...lol

The throne is a mix of tech and stone

I wonder if those are added effects or if it will have light-up feature for eyes and gauntlet legends
