Thanks guys about the Ebay posting. I had a feeling it would be too good to be true. I ended up getting Black Widow through a website I ordered before. Funny thing is they had Scarlet Witch, but then it was unlisted. Black Widow was still there. So I emailed them asking if they had any SW left. They checked their warehouse and luckily they had one left, but told me there was only one BW as well. I got the email informing me they put SW back up but probably won't be for long so I snagged them both. Overall I am very happy I got these two. Scarlett Johansson and Scarlet Witch, seems logical.

I originally wasn't going to get BW. I already have Avengers and Winter soldier versions. I didn't get AOU version because I didn't like the sculpt or hair. When I saw everyone's in hand photos, that's when I wanted to buy. This is my first Scarlet Witch also. I didn't like first one's outfit or sculpt too much. The NA version had little screen time. I think I picked a good first one. These two are perfect examples of how Hot Toys have come a long way in sculpting females. The bar is set high. After seeing these two, I am going to wait for a better Gal Gadot WW.
Of course I can wait for Infinity War versions but that is still a year and a half away. I took a few quick pictures.


One good thing about putting two figures in one order, save on shipping by putting in bigger box, resulting in clean shippers. Sorry I'm a stickler for them.

I love this artwork. Probably the best on a Hot Toys box.


Just a quick pic, so I didn't spend much time on posing. I'm more on the conservative side, a minimalist as far as posing.


When I took these two out of the box I was in awe. Hot Toys did an excellent job with these two. Especially the Scarlett Johansson sculpt. Hair is great too, no futzing. I don't think HT will do much of anything with these two as far as future sculpts. They have Johansson down already and Elizabeth Olsen on first try.

If there's one thing better on Widow than on Witch, its the stare. Widow seems to be looking at something with determination. Witch looks like all previous Widows... something ellusive about the eyes.

I don't think they're that cheap. This is more likely one of the scams where Chinese sellers are listing Hot Toys for around $50.

I've seen those. How does that work? They're very clear about what they're claiming to sell. New, MiB HTfigures. Do they "sell" 15 or whatever and disappear with the money? The sellers I saw had high ratings. I don't get it.

I guessed they were honest folks who just somehow ... acquired $3,000 worth of new product and were looking to unload it all quick at a fifth of the usual retail value.

Sounds legit!

Pretty stunning. I'm stuck on the Avengers version -- this one has what I think is an obviously better likeness, but I like the shorter, almost retro looking hair on the MMS178; she reminds me a little more of the Waid BW (S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Most Wanted).

This one tempts me sometimes, but I don't want to army-build Natashas.

Thanks. Had to sell the WS version to get this one. She's worth it. Best BW likeness. But you know the BW is like IM, HT will make more of this. Maybe the next BW will have a shorter hair.
