I got mine before work today. Finally opened it up a bit ago. I've never had to work so much to unpack a statue, but it was absolutely worth it. This is why I'm such a prime1 mark...they deliver like no one else as far as their products go.

No pics as indoor lighting + my camera is no good, but wow. What a statue.

Congrats!! Isn't it magnificent??

Now...about that 1/3 scale is truth...waddaya think now man?

Ehehehehehhe

Not sure if the camera can resolve this correctly, but yeah....that's little bits of gray in the stubble. You're f'ing kidding me.

Just to mention guys that there was a huge backlash from the majority of fans about this statue in the first place, discrediting as off resemblance, disproportiante and lacking charisma....i am too happy everybody loves it now and P1 took the time and effort to improve the slightest detail. Having sid that, probably the recent delays on some famous statues by P1 like Harley is due tot he attention paid to pull off this beauty...

Those shots are amazing Karnis. I just can't get over how detailed this thing is.

Thanks DiFabio. The one thing pics havent been able to do IMO is capture the real bulk of the statue because it's 2-dimensional. You can't really appreciate how beefy it really is. And sometimes lens distortion plays a role in that too. Some have commented that the pose seems awkward and in actuality it's very simple & well done. The details are insane, for example, some of those folds in the suit are really sculpted into the body as well, so when they covered him with the suit everything holds tight. It's crazy. Even the base is badass and detailed...right down to the 2 missing rivets (I had to check other pics to make sure mine wasn't f'ed up) along the edges. Awesome.

I'm very curious to see how Superman turns out. Lots more flesh tone apps, which no doubt P1 is up to the task, but I really want to see how they handle sculpted hair. That's the real "turn-and-cough" test for next level realism. :lecture :lol

Just got a Gotham City 24x36 print to put behind Bats...will post pics in a bit. In the meantime I posted new pics of my man cave in the show your shelves forum if anyone is interested.

Awesome display Karnis! It is realy beautiful, and it is very cool how people like this statue.

Prime 1 did an incredible job on their first 1:2 Statue. Superman, Armored Batman and Joker are delayed, but they will outcome awesome, I know it :)
