I agree. Like BrooklynWolf X I own the HT 1/6 and I think how the suit was done in that scale worked really well, but I was surprised that their life-size statue seem to have carried on the same clean and glossy effect on the suit. And like their 1/6, they "corrected" Affleck's asymmetrical eyes and was rather conservative with the stubbles. This scale may have been half the size but captured the real Batfleck more, IMO.

Speaking of which what happened to the HT 1/1 statues- are they on schedule? I can't even imagine the containers they will require...

Delivered- the two boxes are the size of a double sided refrigerator box......to get it down the stairs I has to slide it on a towel down while holding up the bottom end...:yess:

What is the shipping weight listed on each of the boxes?

There is a video on YouTube of the Regular 1/1 HT Bats that someone has in-hand. Looks pretty cool, but I think the Prime 1 has more details in the outfit. I've never seen anyone with the 1/1 Armored Bats yet.

Y'know, I actually considered the life size statue...but after seeing what prime 1 offered, my choice was clear. Prime 1's offered accuracy and featured an outfit made of fabric, whereas HT once again idealized the sculpt and featured no fabric save for the cape. None of the suits defining aspects were captured...it just didn't make sense for me personally as I feel that with a bigger scale, minute details SHOULD be easier to replicate. Sadly (and thankfully! The statue cost about 10k!) I had to pass on HT offering. At 1:1, it should've been PERFECT.

The HT is something comic book stores put in their shops for people to look at. I wasn't impressed at all with the photos. Plus the price is staggering. The 1/2 isn't cheap by any means but the details and quality justify the price IMO. Especially for a centerpiece to ones collection or the only piece if it's that. Truly a work of art. Can't wait to get mine.

Exactly!

That video of the HT 1/1 bats is eye-opening-P1 SO much better in EVERY respect- the outfit on the HT looks cheap and simplified- the details such as gloves and boots are soft and very statue-like. Is that really a HT production piece- if so what a huge flop for that kind of money!

My shipping weight is listed as box 1=38 lbs and box 2=62 lbs.

Now if UPS would only get here. The facility is literally across the street so I'm usually one of the last stops. Torture, I tell you. :gah: :lol

I think that is a production piece. When it comes to life size stuff I'm surprised how much of it out there lacks the details you'd think a piece that costs $8k should have. The 1:2 Prime 1 is much more detailed in the suit and the face sculpt. I like the pose better too.

Yeesh! 92 lbs of shipping weight. Is Sideshow's 1:2 stuff this heavy?

What are you guys using to display this. I'm finding it pretty difficult to find stuff that has a weight capacity that can hold these things.

No SS statues are very light compared to this- these boxes are very heavy - !

I'm sorry, double checked....38 lbs!

I have a 20x30 side table with metal frame I've had for years.....like it was made for it. It's pictured a couple of pages back.

So thats 100 lbs total? :thud:

I think I'm going to have to start looking at stuff with a metal frame too. Just don't want to risk a wood display collapsing.

I am curious to see everyone's display options. I myself will most likely put him in a Pax from Ikea. I'd like to have him higher but don't want to risk the weight. Plus the Pax should work with what I have planned.

Those are some big ass boxes. So it begins....

The base is 18.5" wide & 16" deep with the name plate in front.

These pictures are so impressive and are leaning me towards picking up the joker. I even want this and enjoyed batfleck, but he didn't impact me as much as the other Batman's.

You guys think the low es on sideshows site is legitimate or just a ploy to get people to buy?

Mine says 1000 total on the box

Well, the only thing I can say is that the hype is real, it's a spectacular statue, arrived in perfect condition, not a hint of slop or any issues at all for that matter.

Pictures can't do the face sculpt justice, it's insanely realistic.

....and the stubble? Yeah...it's coarse & stubbly, not just painted. Unreal. Same with the moles. Kinda freaky.

A few quick pics...I'll try & get some more tonight.
