I think the guy will make you one but its expensive

Yup. I asked about it as well but its unaffordable for me.

The chinese factories are starting to pump out head sculpts with rooted hair.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Thor with rooted hair at under $70.

Sorry. I wish I could make them a little more affordable but these take some time to complete and perfect. N the ones that "Chinese factories" are making are nowhere near as nice as the customs that are out there.

I'm always open to any partial trades though... Just saying.

Nothing against your work or anything. It takes REAL talent to get these going and you got it!

Factories are definitely no match to custom work but for the general populace, the price just works...

Yeah for a cheaper price id take cheaper quality as long as its serviceable but I cant pay $200+ for a headsculpt no matter how great it looks.

Agreed with this.

Customs by a single customizer I'm sure will always be better as far as having more detail and I'm certain it takes a lot of time and talent to do it. However, I just don't think many people would pay the price (or near) of what an entire figure would be just for a sculpt, when they can have one much cheaper that while probably won't be as detailed, gets the same job done.

Same principle between a mass produced $35 Kryptonite spear that looks really good and allows your Armored Batman figure to have a Kryptonite spear accessory, versus a custom $100+ Kryptonite spear accessory that looks great. :wink1: :lol

Whether or not one can afford it, it's just not very practical.

You'd be surprised what people will pay for custom stuff, even more so with 1/4 statues where a custom head can cost as much as a mass production statue. There's a market for just about anything really.

Speaking of, who sells the $100 kryptonite spear? I've only seen the $35 one.
