My mom is always bugging my for what I want for birthday / xmas...which I usually always reply with, "nothing...save your money".

Last time I was on the phone with her, I said might as well give it a try. So I told her to keep an eye out and that most likely it will always be sold out or for 300+ bucks.

The other day she tells me she got one for 70 bucks...knowing her she got the wrong one or a knock-off but I guess I will see soon when she sends it to me or I go pick it up.

Then she mentioned she seen the Sega and Atari versions and got the Atari one for herself.

Finally score one at my local GameStop. They only had 3. Wooohoooo. Now the wait until Christmas. Did anyone purchase the extension for the controller that was mention several pages back? Just curious how it's holding up.

That's amazing, congrats! I have two extension cords, each being 6ft in length thus I snapped them together to make a 12ft cord! It plays remarkably well, no input lag or anything. As I've mention before, there's no way to play this without the cord.

That's even better than the NES Classic imo. Though you probably don't wanna play games stretched like that.

I could never go back to the old school with this. Constantly trying to get the damn thing to read some of the cartridges was a pain in the @ss. LOL!
Plus, the NES classic was made to be played on HDTVs and the game save system is awesome.

As long as you never, ever want to play any game that isn't one of the 30 already on the console, it's great. The save system and HD graphics are nice though.
