I don't like having a lone Ant-Man figure. I've almost sold it to buy the CW one but I'm still hoping this fig gets released. Not a real memorable character but the figure looked great.

I wouldn't exchange this for the CW one. The Rudd sculpt portrait on the first figure is better than the CW one IMO. :) Might as well just put the first one next to the other Avengers.

Both are great figures (Ant-Man and CW Ant-Man), but I second the sentiment that if you already have the Ant-Man figure, don't sell it for the CW one. As mentioned, the Rudd likeness on the first figure is superior and with the magnetic helmet faceplate, you get the best of both worlds of being able to have the helmet on while still showing the face of the sculpt.

Plus, if you're getting either CW BW or SW, let the mini Ant-Man accessory serve as your CW Ant-Man and also as your miniaturized representation of Ant-Man, and the first figure serve as your normal sized representation of Ant-Man.

I just chose the original ant man figure because I wanted it to be paired with this one.

That is the frustrating thing for me. As someone else always states, they make 95% of the figures they show. So the expectation is that I would have a YJ to go with my AM. Do I like AM? Yes. Would I have bought it if they never showed YJ? Probably not. It's borderline false advertising.

Don't let something so simple like this frustrate you.

I wouldn't call it false advertising either.

It's like concept cars and the actual cars that are produced. The 2015 WRX looked really good as a concept but the actual production car was different. It's not false advertising though.

It's really not a big deal. If you like the character enough, buy it. Does not even matter if Yellowjacket comes out or not.

In any case, just wait. Go read a book or something. Motux mentioned some production issues with this figure.

After reading a lot of comments it would appear many of you make rash decisions when purchasing your figures. Summary of said comments: "Eh, YJ is old news. I would have purchased him at one point but they missed the boat, let's buy the new Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow,(something else that has already been made, or something newly announced that isn't old news yet etc) instead!" lol

I'm happy i'm not like that.

Don't worry, I'm not just sitting around feeling frustrated. Hot Toys are not my life.

This is not the same as a car. AM and YJ were in the movie together, then shown together at Toy Soul or some other event that I don't know the name. For the car comparison to work you would have to talk about War Machine mk 3 being shown as it was at first and how it is actually being produced.

I realize it's not false advertising. As I stated "borderline", which is also an exaggeration.

I enjoy and will continue to enjoy my AM AM. I will also purchase YJ if it's ever produced.

I like the 2015 WRX. I know this is off topic but he started it!12092574_10206668467423929_458961278_n.jpg

My 13 Impreza is in the shop, bad accident but I'm thinking of getting a wrx when I get a house. Great cars from Subaru
Their symmetrical AWD is unsurpassed! Wouldn't get any other brand besides a Golf/GTI.

I'm not all that into cars.. But I looked up that focus RS, and wow that's pretty awesome.

Had I not known what it was, I never would've guessed it was a focus.

I've always wanted a mustang, I've also always loved the look of the Mazda rx8. But, I'll stick with my SUV. It's just more practical for where I live and my job.

Yeah the RS is kind of the "it" car right now....at least for under $40K. It won Top Gear's Car of the Year, it's up for Motor Trend Car of the Year, etc. It might be a bit much for most people, but it's my kind of car. The issue right now is finding one at sticker price.
