It isn't offering enough to make me want to stand it along side my original SWS maquette, it's good though. I think the portraits are still the weak area, and that armor of course, why that wasn't shifted I have no idea.

I like the organic base a lot.

I don't know if I'll end up getting this or not. I do like the detail on the skull and spine EX, but the unmasked portrait bugs me. Then again, at least this one has spines on it. Decisions, decisions...

Not sure about that unmasked portrait, but the REAL killer (as I knew it would be) is Sideshow's arrogance about the thigh armour. If they'd fixed that then I'd still have gone for this . . . as-is . . . maybe/maybe-not.

I think everyone has valid points about the slight inaccuracies and strangely positioned armor on this piece. We all seem to see the same stuff which is great.

But with that said, this piece has a lot going for it. A LOT. Including the base as Python mentioned above. It's really nicely done IMO without taking up too much real estate, which is an important characteristc in my collection nowadays.

it does have a lot going for it and I see the appeal for ppl who can't afford the original, but as someone who has the original, that simple thigh armor fix would get me to order it. It's that ****ing simple, but as someone posted, they are too arrogant to see that or care what we think? Screw them I say, cause we all see it.

if your referring to the P2 maquette....it's far from amazing, a good attempt with lots of issues for sure. I sold mine not too long after I had it and I'm a huge Pred nerd. If I had the money to do a complete customization on it like that bad ass one the guy from Europe did, different conversation.....

I don't care for unmasked on any predator as much as i love the Bio masks. Its going to look awesome with the mask on and the spine, thats how i will display mines.

I don't think that discount will come along again. P1 is WAY more popular than P2, plus the Exclusive is a must for me so I'm not chancing it.
