I saw Mormont today on FB. I don't know if he's complete ( he doesn't have belt/sword) but his clothes were done. He looks good.

Yeah seen that too and it looks amazing

There is a thread in the interest section here for it. Looks awesome. Don't think he comes with sword in the standard uniform but there does appear to be some option with armor and the sword for sure.

Chances are we'll never get Jorah or Ramsay. Customs are the way to go, but I simply don't have the funds to cover $500 figures.

Let me ask those who've been around the 1/6th game a long time. Based on other companies past lines maybe somewhat similar to this how do you see this line playing out? Is there something to compare this to? How long it went, how many figures they released. I really hope this line goes on for a long time and has many characters released. There are so many great ones from this show it's hard to narrow it down to just a few.

I see Threezero dropping the license two to three years after the show ends. Then in five to ten years after that another company eventually will pick it up and run with it. Perhaps even improving on the detail that Threezero brought to bear on the line.

Star Ace... QmX... Blitzway... take your pick.

If LOTR took this long to get picked up by a new company, I can't say I see GOT getting a second run with a new group helming the project. It seems like nothing figure wise sells well from GOT. Funko has even slowed their Pop releases for the series to a grindingly slow rate, which is pretty telling.

Yeah I'd agree with that. Funko have been vaulting a lot of GoT pops of late, they usually do this for slow selling product. Of course it makes the second market price skyrocket.

It's interesting too, because GoT is arguably one of their most expansive lines as far as character selection. Yet you get figures like Renley who warm the pegs (pun was not intended), but now are worth nearly $200 now that they're not available.

For whatever reason, no matter the company, figures just don't seem to sell. And sure, every product has had a caveat: Legacy was shoddily built, 3Z is high end/expensive, Pops are stylized. But even Pops, arguably the most universally collected toy line now, seem to fall short as we said. I don't know why, the designs are great and are generally very toy-etic. I can only imagine that it might have to do that it's on a paid channel, which limits the possible collector audience, but I don't feel like there's much support there for that argument.

I finally decided to pass on this after getting the first four figures. I don't think there's any hope of threezero being able to complete the major characters in this line substantially.

Don't do it. Come back to us

Other than maybe Dany and Cersei are there really any major characters? Besides Ned I think they've hit the big ones so far.

Agreed. And I could even do without Dany. All I really need at this point is Cersei to complete the Lannister trio, but of course I'd be happy with any of the other secondary characters after that. I don't understand why so many people are complaining tbh. We've got a great lineup so far.

So this figure comes with a katar, which I didn't even notice until now. But can someone enlighten me on when he uses a katar in the show or when it is on his person? It's a cool accessory to have and I am glad that Threezero is including more accesories as they move into the higher price point but I don't think I ever associated that weapon with the hound.

Is that the knife thing that looks like an H? I can't find any photo's with it on him and I don't remember it.

Haha Thanks.

Still trying to figure out if I need the Hound. I'm primarily a statue collector though so I've bought most of the Darkhorse sculpts. I got into these thinking they'd make more characters faster than the stats. So far I've got the Jon Snow, Daenerys and Arya sculpts to go with these. I'm glad they got to Jaime though. He's always been my favorite.

Besides Dany and Cersei I was kinda hoping to get all the Stark kids. But I guess they can do 3-4 more in this line so maybe I can go for the Hound after all. Will just wait till it goes up on retail.
