They changed everything. The pic above is the main reason so many people are so unsatisfied with the production figure. It's not that the production sculpt is that bad (although a bunch of people are about to jump in and say it is, lol), it's mainly because the proto was so breathtakingly good (though we may have to redefine that after we see the painted Jnix effort) and what we got fell so short of its example.

Jinx is doing a Luke head sculpt?

The reason why I even PO'd this figure (same with Leia) was because how breathtakingly good the likeness was. While the Leia sculpt nailed it, I was a bit underwhelmed by this one when I got it. Don't get me wrong, I think overall it's still pretty good and I like the figure, but the likeness is not as striking as what I saw in the prototype that made me just have to have this.

Double post.

Check his interest thread. He's been taking orders for a week or so I think. Looks great so far...just not sure it's appropriate to post a pic in this official one.

The sculpt can look really nice from various angles but the height of the hair always seems problematic to me. Always looks improved when I crop off a bit of the top of his head. I'm not sure yet that I'll upgrade to the Jnix sculpt--waiting for painted shots before deciding. There should be several other Luke figures so more chances for somebody to nail his likeness.

I stuck the Han headset hair on HT Luke and it actually looked pretty good - like that picture where his hair is being blown back. I'm thinking of going back and sculpting over the trench where the headset goes then painting it lighter.

What I really dislike about the figure is the fact that he neck looks way too buff... has anybody switched Luke to a different body?

Out of curiosity, I stuck the Han hair on Luke after reading Tom's post, on the last page... I think I turned him into Kevin Nealon.

That's absurdly stunning, I can't stop staring

Kevin Nealon is the new Tom Cruise
