Statue XM Star Wars 1/4 Statues

Well XM has always and continues to to show WIP, concepts, and basically everything else possible with their other licenses. Yeah it affects business, you can ask you can beg, but bottom line if they say no and you want the license you gotta. Hell even SS has been revealing their new concept stuff through Disney presentations now ;p

It must have to do with the Lucasfilm side of licensing then, because Marvel falls under the Disney umbrella and they have no problem showing concept art and WIPs for those pieces as you say.

I honestly just don't get what the hold up is.

Might even be a stipulation specifically for the Asian territory specifically(Asia market is probably a whole different department) though like I said even SS concepts are being filtered through Disney nowadays (not that they showed a ton before). I just doubt it's XM, why would they want to? They have been so incredibly open about absolutely everything else. I don't see a reason to doubt their word on this.

Well it's a good sig, though I think changing out the Vader on the left for a vader from the films would be even better

The Grievous is just HUGE. I'd say about the same size as a life size Yoda? And whether you get it or not really depends more on space.
The Vader three piece has an awesome Anakin and Little Ani but the Vader I think underwhelms. Might just swap that out for the SS one.
The Maul piece is the best of the new pieces. Very dynamic up in mid air pose.
The Dagobah Yoda and Luke and XWing Luke works if you're a Luke fan I guess.

Maul was the one i was looking forward to as well. Does he have a hood and how accurate is the face?

Grievous: promising but too expensive
Darth Maul: promising overall
Vader: never been interested in the triorama, no interest in the bratAnakin
Luke Yoda/Pilot: sounds great, that's exactly what I always wanted. Main characters in their iconic outfits, bring it on with a good Han Solo and non-slutty Leia. The market lacks good human characters from the original trilogy.
It all comes down to portraits' likenesses btw.

The Grievous base is the size of a life size yoda base. The stat is not as tall. Never realized a 1/4 yoda would be so tiny.

Based on your description, looking forward to just Grievous.
Maul with a jumping off pose puts me off
Yoda and luke might consider
Pilot luke no interest

Not to sound rude but... did you manage to take a close look at the facial likenesses? That's my #1 concern, since you managed to check Vader's helmet can you tell if the likeness on Luke Pilot is there?

likeness on the humans is very important. I don't know if I can fork over this kind of dough if they turn out to be like the attakus verisons : )

Having said that I want all of them. But I just can't pay around $2k USD shipped for ANY 1/4 scale statue, no matter how magnificent, so grievous is out.

I will likely have to pass on the vader trio is well if all 3 aren't "perfect".

But I am buying the rest for sure...Maul especially interests me.

Also, in the previous page I've read "Luke X Wing pilot", but wasn't the first concept art shown with him standing on the crashed Snowspeeder's cockpit?
