Need help...Has anyone here bought a Neca Alien Queen from overseas (China,Hong Kong) on ebay,i ask because I want to buy one but they are very expensive in Canada now,and was wondering if they are just blatant knock offs from overseas,or should I just pay the going rate in North America? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am new to this line, thank you

I have a brand new for sale. From Canada as well. PM me a price if interested.

From the NECA site:

As seen in the 1979 horror classic Alien, this stunningly detailed replica of the Fossilized Space Jockey is perfect as a diorama element and a striking display piece on its own!

It’s perfectly in scale with our line of 7” figures, which means that it’s appropriately massive: two feet long, over 18” tall, and the circular base is 18” in diameter! The Fossilized Space Jockey is made of hand-painted foam rubber and latex with all the details you see in the movie.

Comes packaged in a sturdy reinforced corrugated box. No retail packaging.

***t! $320 at BBTS plus....wait for it.....$544.24 shipping to Ireland!!! And then customs on top of that.

***k, I wasn't even thinking of price. I could just about stomach the $320 but that shipping cost rules me out. Dammit.

$320.00 + $88.00 for shipping, with an estimated December arrival, and it does appear to be bigger than the Sideshow maquette. So I guess now we know how NECA plans to deliver the Queen's egg sack - surely it will be another foam-rubber piece. Should we be concerned though about the longevity of the material? I wonder if there's a safe method of casting a mold of this Space Jockey without damaging it. I'd much prefer it to be plastic, even if it did add $100 or more to the price tag.

Someone on Twitter asked Randy about the Jockey materials:

it is a very dense thick polyurethane foam that is stored in normal temps and normal lighting conditions will last

NECA added,

@NECA_TOYS Looks amazing! Can you comment on the foam/latex on the Jockey? There are some concerns b/c Hot Toys' figs deteriorated over time

Foam & Rubber?? Ah, frak. Was hoping it was plastic....and the cost prices me out.
If the Queen was $100 usd, why is this $320? It's a heck of a jump....

And ***k again! If the egg sack were to cost the same I don't know how I could justify paying for that either.

Wow, what an awesome piece, definitely something I wanted to see in the line - and looks amazing!

However, it looks like my days of being a completest with this and the predator lines are done. If SDCC Newt and Cloaked Scar didnt seal the deal, the price on this did for sure.

Goddamn shipping from the US. If this were produced and sold from Hong Kong I could buy this no ****ing problem. USPS $544.24, **** sake.
