Great work by Jinx. Heres a comparison of it against the original.

Hot Toys were close. The shape of the eyes and the brows are too far off. If they had gotten closer on those it would have pulled the elements together. Jnix's is just pretty much perfect.

I agree, if HT made some minor tweaks it would have been worthy. I still think HT did a good job on the paint work.

Lousy low Rez pic, but honestly, kids, it doesn't get much better than this... Jnix is a genius.

Fyi, this is one last shot from me of Jnix on this thread. I started a new thread in the Customs section to show of this amazing sculpt so we can attempt to return this one to stock HT if anyone is interested...

I too got jnix's sculpt in, at first glance, it almost looks like someone shrunk ford down! it's incredible. I asked for mine to be painted with eyes sideways, to bring a little more character out of him.

Jnix could have so much more $$ if did another batch or two. The exposure that the Han head has gotten over the past few weeks and the fact that you can't get it just makes it downright evil. Lol

If the rest of us can't get it, I don't think it's fair to keep posting in this Hot Toys Han thread. But that's like beating a dead horse at this point.

That's a great point, but you have to ask yourself if a JazzInc repaint of a Jnix sculpt would be 'not necessarily better' than his repaint of the HT sculpt... I know what I think!

I still don't think that's near to being on a par with the Jnix sculpt. It's a great 1/6 re paint granted, but you can't bring a HF likeness out if it isn't there in the first place.

Not trying to be rude here Meddler - but boy you keep bashing the horn on this. And yes, I agree it's a good job (the added hair is a really nice touch)... but... I honestly don't think it's anymore amazing than Jnix's - it's just a different take than his.

For my money, that Chubbyman one with the eyes looking to the side is pretty damn impressive; makes it feel more like a snapshot from the film, than a publicity pose.

I definitely see that, i just saw everyone posting it here lol I can remove my post if it's deemed inappropriate, no worries! But I'd def want another one as well if Jnix makes it again

Nah don't do that.

Best we can do is keep asking him. There's plenty of demand for a third batch.

Nice but the added hair is weird. Looks like superman 's curl

I like Jinx's work, but I don't know but in pics the mouth open look is kind of offputting. I think Jinx should of used a closed mouth or sculpt some teeth if they wanted an open mouth Han.

The jnix sculpt is better than HT imo but I don't think to the degree that others here clearly do. It does look just a bit oversized on the smuggler body to me but looks better on the stormie body. Also I don't want to be too critical here but I do see a bit of Hasselhoff from certain angles. Again no disrespect intended. For the money I'll stick with what I have, when posed with the other ANH characters he blends right in.
