Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Thanks General, Snake and Whakojacko! I really appreciate your comments! I'd love to make one of those incredible Diorama displays many of you guys have, just haven't had the time to make it!

Looking forward to sharing more stuff. I'm a completist and am really LOVING this line! (Was a JLU Collector who didn't get enough Bruce Timm designs! :D)

Thanks for the heads up, Whako, but actually the creaks on the wooden planks displaying it keep it from moving! Fortunately for my head and the rest of the figs.

Hey guys,

New to the forum. Just got my Gordon wave figs. and wanted to share a pic (Sorry for the crappy quality) View attachment 285131

Welcome!!
That's one huge collection. Congrats! I think you're the first collector I've seen that own all the releases so far.
LOVE Lingerie Harley's pose!!

Hope ou post more often here.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Yes, he is. He comes with 2 extra pairs of hands, knife, pearl necklace, telescope, comb and helmet. Plus the base.
As you can see, no "classic" Joker accessory, sadly.

:duff

thanks- however, I think i'm a little confused. The Joker I picked up last week has all these accessories? Do I have the wave 2 version? Did the first one come with different accessories or did the v2 just improve plastic/paint?

The paint jobs are all over the place. This is definitely a line where you need multiple of each character to check out. When i got my Mask of the Phantasm 2 pack, My Batman finally had white teeth but they barely colored in his left eye so it looked like one eye was wide open and the other was squinting . .. like the phantasm poked his eye out or something lol Also, it's really difficult to find a BTAS Batman with chest symbol paint that matches the sculpt lines

I think I must have lucked out then. Both my Batman and Joker look pretty good.

Sent from the Bat Cave

Yeah I don't know...
One minute the pictures show, then I refresh, and they don't :huh

Should be fixed now.

Yes, you have Wave 2 Joker. There's only one Wave 2 Joker. He was the first Joker released.

The other Joker is the one that comes in the Mad Love 2-pack. That's the version that has better paint apps on the teeth.

That's an incredible display, Whakojacko! Where did you get those display boxes from?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

This is the Joker/Harley 2-pack I have seen, the paint looks pretty sloppy :/

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I really appreciate everyone's feedback! Thanks!

Question: Where do you guys store all the alternate hands and items? I'm curious as I see many great displays with none of those pieces in sight.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Finally saw TAS Harley in person at Barnes and Noble of all places. Anyway she was so tiny :horror wow was she small

I put all the accessories from the same wave in some cellophane, then in a zip bag, then in a plastic container. I lose things easily, so I need a triple threat lol.
Awesome display by the way! Where do you get your shelves from?!

Thanks Phantasm!

Got them from Home Depot here in Mexico. They're standard coated wood planks, and the wall mounts are the "invisible" kind (they would be, had I painted them like my walls.)

And thanks for the reply on the Ziplock bags to both you and 305Batman.
