First Hot Toy Purchase

My actual interest in 1/6 actually began with Medicom though.

Technically I didn't purchase it, but it was my first hot toy. Wife bought me the spidey 3/sandman dio for my bday when it came out. I personally find gift statue/figures are always the best. Seems to mean more to me than something I purchase on my own.

Reading these makes me realize I was there pretty early on buying this stuff. My first was the original Dark Knight Joker which I got rid of and for some reason never upgraded. First one I bought and kept I think was Raimi Spiderman

First Hot Toys figure was Indiana Jones, closely followed by Superman (Chris Reeves).

Now, I know I typed this earlier today, but it's seems to gone. Much like money now that I can't stop buying the things!!!

I guess I'm old school: my first one was The Godfather. I really had to talk myself into spending $150 on an "action figure" back then...

Today, I just $100 more than that for Suicide Squad Harley.

Same here. The crazy thing is that it was like what $140 for two figures.

Yeah my wallet has never been the same since I discovered Hot Toys.

This thread sure brings back memories. I ordered my first two together; Corporal Dwayne Hicks and Private Vasquez. I remember being frustrated that I had to put them together.

Hicks, Vasquez and Apone from Aliens. Figures I wanted for ages and ordered at the same time. But seeing the quality of 1/6 now, really wish they would do an updated re-release.
