NECA 1/4 Scale Batman Returns Danny DeVito Penguin Figure!

Beyond impressive this new version of the Penguin. Seriously.

NECA has outdone itself just after doing so with Catwoman. This company just keeps getting better.

I so wish I had space in my bedroom for these 1/4 scale figures.

Anyway, I'm getting NECA's 89 Batman in 7" form, and I'm PRAYING they release Catwoman and any of their Penguins in 7" form, too.

I don't know what you're willing to spend on a DX 08 Pug, but if you look around, I think you can get one for around what he originally cost.

Yeah it is the current exchange rate from USD to AUD that is really hurting and stopping me pull the trigger. Would love to pay around $400ish AUD (300USD) (and just missed out on a cpl at that price) but currently looking at least $460 - $550+ at current rates plus currency exchanges fees on top of that.

Will play the patience game on him and see how I go. Everyone needs a Holy Grail to look for in their collection.

While the first release is terrific, had I known that this mayor version would come out I would have waited. It's great that a friend sold the first version to me for a low price due to damaged packaging.

All NECA has to do is give us a 1/4 Returns version Batman in the future, to complete a great display.

On a side note, "puny" was my first reaction when I saw their Hulk, but then again the Bale Begins figure next to it is oversized

I am SO HAPPY they are giving us a Mayor Cobblepot! Now, since I didn't get a chance to pick up the jumpsuit version of the Penguin, I really hope they will eventually re-release him, but this time with the third, so far unused snarling headscupt.

I am SO HAPPY they are giving us a Mayor Cobblepot! Now, since I didn't get a chance to pick up the jumpsuit version of the Penguin, I really hope they will eventually re-release him, but this time with the third, so far unused snarling headscupt.

I highly doubt that jumpsuit penguin will get a rerelease. Either way you can still get him for retail price from lots of places...

At this point there's really no excuse to not include atleast one umbrella, closed, functioning, static, sculpted or real. What the **** is their problem?

Surprising that they still don't see fit to provide him with an umbrella...it was clearly one of his signature accessories in the movie. It's like not giving T2 Uncle Bob his shotgun.

Otherwise, what a fantastic looking figure.

Damn, no new accessories at all. Just a reuse of everything from jump suit Penguin, which makes sense but nothing new at all stings. Bummer.

Yeah, it's incompetent as hell.

I can see having problems with the first one manufacturing a functional umbrella but a year later? If it couldn't be done and the Chinese factories couldn't do it justice, then why not go back to the drawing board and do atleast a closed, sculpted one that he could hold at his side or use as a firearm/weapon?

One, simple, closed umbrella with maybe two or three intetchangable tip attachments (a knife blade tip, a shot gun tip, and/or a flame effect). Really lazy.

He doesn't even eat that fish in his mayor outfit.... SMH sometimes NECA urks me. But hopefully someone can offer an sculpted closed umbrella for this guy.
