Just wish he was $200 instead. What happened to the under $200 figures? Superman has more accessories and was even less than this. Still, couldn't pass up the first Joker figure.

I love how Sideshow has downgraded the Joker figure from pre-order to waitlist about five times already. Lol. Guess Hot Toys just keeps upping the U.S. release numbers due to demand. [emoji106][emoji851][emoji90]

The hair is bugging me. Sculpt wise it's perfect, you can see the side are shorter snd the thickness and length of the fringe when slicked back looks really realistic. It's just too dark. In the film it's almost neon green

It seems HT is going for scene accuracy as opposed to reality. In real life the hair is bright neon green, but in that specific scene, it looks darker because of the lighting...at least in the photos I've seen.

Oh snap!!!
Hold up.... not one, but 2 relaxed hands?!?! Oh hell yea!!!
That's like a $60 value right there man!!!
I'm not "staying tuned" this time.
I'm on that waitlist like a Boss.

Hopefully they use metal snaps on the straight jacket instead of the brittle plastic ones they used on Scarecrow. Those things broke with ease of you wanted him to have his business suit look.

I would almost guarantee they'll reuse this sculpt, with slightly different paint apps (possibly lighter green hair). The serious look works for the purple jacket look.

So, you'll probably get the same pants, same bottom legs (which like the head, very likely weren't sculpted just for this exclusive release), same body, same sculpt, but more hands, then cane, and a smattering of other accessories. It's possible he'll get more than one outfit in that release, but knowing HT, they'll probably milk it by doing each one separately.

Very true. So I'm not worried. There will be plenty of Leto Joker to go around. And I really only want the version that EF posted about

I hate those too. I've had a bunch of them break on me or that I just can't fasten. All on Batman figures too: Scarecrow's straight jacket (although I bought it second hand and I think some were already broken), Bane's jacket (the part that holds down the collar), the DX11 Joker (on his vest). Plus I could never get the ones for my West Batman to even snap in place.

The funny thing is, I work in a GameStop so I get my fair share of raging nerds, and the consensus is that we prefer him to be Jason Todd trying his hardest to make himself the joker. (The tattoos and such being overcompensation.)

That is an interesting theory, I'm still on the fence if I want that to be true but if it was, I wouldn't be that upset if only the real Joker shows up in future films.

If Leto bombs and people dislike his performance like Luthor in BVS, I could see WB turning him into Jason Todd and getting a new actor to play the "real" Joker. Unlikely, but not impossible.

It wouldn't be the first time a studio makes a change because of the fan backlash, look at the Mandarin change after "fans" hated the fake Mandarin twist un Iron Man 3 or how Shreder was changed from a white actor to an unknown Asian actor in the 2014 TMNT movie because of the backlash...and in the sequel he's played by yet another actor.

I doubt Leto shaved his eyebrows, gained weight, spent hours in the make-up chair and said no to Dr. Strange (supposedly) to play a Joker fanboy in a 5 minute cameo and let some other actor play DC's most popular villain, unless they have long term plans in mind and several movie appearances planned....that's of course if the audience likes him, if not WB will get rid of hin.

He won't be. Even in Margot Robbie's latest interview where she said that Harley is still in love with The Joker, if the implication is that this Joker is Jason Todd, then it would reason that Harley Quinn was in love with Jason Todd and another Joker would be running around that "killed" Robin and then he took the persona and his girl to run around and cause trouble? It's too farfetched even for Snyder. This is The Joker of the DCEU and love him or hate him, this is the big bad to fight Batman.

I keep going back and forth on preordering this one. The HS is just spot on and it would be so badass to have an arkham asylum Joker complete with straitjacket, but it's just so bare bones. You know there will be more of a deluxe standard version and I will for sure grab that, but it would be cool to grab this version if it ends up going quickly. If it was like 20-30 bucks cheaper I'd have already pulled the trigger.
