It is weird ...I think their website doesn't have the option to list 'Pre-Order on X' in that spot so its either available or out of stock.

It always causes an initial gasp for me when I forget that and go to check an upcoming product and see its already out of stock

Maybe. Seems kind of risky. I'm not sure with a piece this big and this expensive that it'll be possible to flip this and recoup your costs after fees, shipping, etc.

I made one years ago. It's about 2.75". I assume the PCS will be between 2.5 and 2.75"

Yeah this exact pose (beach version) has been my grail wish for a long. long time. I probably would have preferred it in 1/4 to keep price and size down.
Being sideways with arms extended on a naked torso, means its total size in volume is going to be insane. The box size is going to be bonkers.

If I ever have a reason to sell it'll have to be marked 'pick up only'

You can easily make top dollar off of these. There's always someone who missed out who will pay a ridiculous price to have it. Look how much SS Arnold Conan goes for.
