thks :hi5:

yeah plottin on the blue now but cant help but feel as tho im missing out when i see the epic customs, pricey tho eeesh.

oh wow was not prepared for how cool batman in 1/6 is, really enjoy this. even with the probs(loose hips, cape needs extreme futzing, symbol is all stretched to one side, faceplates not as snug). have the 1/12 mezcos and are great but in 1/6 bats is so dope.

so im thinkin on getting another 1/6 batman. obvious choice is the ss blue/grey but some of those customs with mei outfit ashcan(i think) head are really impressive.:panic:

go blue/grey? or pony up for a custom? anyone went down a similar path after getting their first 1/6 batman? instantly want more...

Personally, I like the stock Blue/Gray version better than any of the customs I've seen. Now, that's just me. I'm not saying those customs aren't great, or they suck, etc... It's just my personal taste. I have the Blue/Gray SSC and Gotham Knight versions and I love them.

Same here, not sure why but not digging most of the customs I've seen

not even that jim lee style sculpt? love that.

but do like the realistic sculpts by SS. fav so far is the frown, just put that plate on for first time other night and was like yup thats the best!
:clap

Is the suit on gotham Knight easily removable without cutting? Im thinking of putting it on a tm20 body as i find the muscles on ss body look odd. Also, can the head be fixed on a tm20 body?

:gah: the symbol on mine all stretched to one side is starting to bug the hell out of me, lol. is slimmer and longer on one side due to the stretch, guess it was printed that way and slipped thru QC.

As you can see it looks kinda small.

Wow thanks for taking the time to post this! I actually don't think it looks that bad! But perhaps all those years of watching Timm's cartoons have given me a fetish for microcephaly. If anyone has an extra Medicom head please PM me.

Since I've seen some QC issues in this thread, I'm curious: how does Sideshow handle such issues if you buy through a reseller? I might pick this guy up from a nearby retailer and I'm wondering if any issues would go through my retailer or Sideshow.

I had been setting money aside for the Hot Toys BVS Batman, but after that film left such a bad taste in my mouth I decided I couldn't spend that level of money on a collectible for it (assuming Affleck's solo film is more my speed, maybe I'll grab their inevitable figure for that film).

Instead, I picked up this guy.

I gotta say, I'm way happier with this figure than I expected to be. There are a couple of foibles, but the interchangeable cowls and faces, and the cape look so much better in hand than in the reviews I've seen. I think the harsh light of the camera lens does this figure a disservice, because it just looks fantastic.

After watching the reviews and reading the comments about this figure, I was really worried about the cape, but it's actually the figure's best feature, I think. It looks great and it's way easier to work with than that of the MMS293.

A quick question to fellow owners: does the belt have a latch or something? It's riding a little high on his waist, and it's difficult to push down over his underoos. I'm wondering if I can take it off in order to get it down a little bit.

It should unhook at the buckle. Thats how the belt on the first one came off.
