Yesterday. It was unexpected as customer service told me just a couple of days before that it would be shipped in April. So don't get nervous if it doesn't show up today.

Todays sunday, i highly doubt theyll get it to me. Does it come ups or usps? My gf will be home all day. im going to a reptile expo today, it would be nice to come home to.

With so many rich details covered on the figure, how did Threezero skip the obvious and full-frontal details on the collar lights and the right-shoulder-mounted spot light?

The only covered up details are on the forehead and chest. The rest are clear. The more I look at this and pose him the happier I am with him. Worth the looooong wait! ...would have liked the hustler necklace to be there though... And have the dollar sign able to face front.

...on a side note. When the ThreeA Ninja and Yolandi comes out it would be great if we could get together and ask Rocco or someone to make naturalistic head sculpts for them.... Not that I don't like them as is, but naturalistic head sculpts would go well with Chappie.

I meant "covered" as in "included" or "featured" not "hidden"

Look a couple of pages back in this thread. Apparently Ash is redoing Yolandis head or something. Should be up this year according to ...sorry forgot his name. There are two Ninjas out already.

Picked up my Chappie yesterday. Didn't take any pics yet, will try to take some in the next few days.

First impressions, I'm overall happy with the purchase. The details look extremely nice and detailed.

However, he feels extremely fragile.

First, my figure luckily doesn't have the fragile toes. The left foot's joints were originally stuck, and I was thinking back and forth whether to try to loosen them up at the risk of breaking them. At the end, I used a blow dryer, and just forced it (still have 7 days warranty) and luckily that did the trick. I think some of the paint caused the problem.

The ears keep falling off at the slightest touch. Don't want to glue them together, cause it looks nicer with some posing, but it is still annoying.

Removing the head to place the batteries was also semi-stressful as it wouldn't budge for the longest time. Wasn't sure if I was using too much force, or opening it the wrong way and risk breaking it.

The leg articulation in the thighs also looks fragile, as it is connected to the main body by springs. If you put him in a sitting position, the springs are stretched out pretty far, and I don't think its something I would do for a long term pose.

Finally, he can stand on his own, but the legs need to be standing straight up which makes posing limited. Especially problematic since he doesn't come with a stand. Overall I'd give it a 7/10, the character, visual flair, and design is cool but I won't be messing with it too much.

Got mine last night....his big toes were broken off in package....super glued em back on. Figure looks pretty nice, happy to have him. I wish 3z would step up their plastic quality though.....also the AK feels super duper cheap. Good thing I love the character or I think I'd be disappointed

Overall I agree - though I haven't broken anything on mine I'm afraid I will. But other than that it's like it walked right out of the movie. Love it and so happy I got the exclusive.
One of his ears was loose when I opened it but with some pressure it now seems to stick really well. Maybe try and press the ears in a bit harder?
8/10 ;-) and the two points missing are for being fragile and the covered up labels on the head and torso. And for the dollar sign not being able to face front maybe .

I don't think you can get away from fragility given the scale of the mechanisms - short of machining (some) parts from steel or aluminum.

I think if they used a better quality plastic it wouldn't break as easily. Or if they design the joint to have a little more meat to make up for the plastic quality. I think the figure looks great and I like him, just disappointing to wait all this time only to open him and be greeted by snapped off toes...plus that AK, there's no denying it's cheesy
