Sideshow really has the worst customer service that I have ever experience outside of the Department of Motor Vehicles. I have sent several emails over the last couple of weeks about not being able to get C3PO's head to come off and no response. No one will answer the phone and the live chat is a joke. Any suggestions as I think the 30 day return window is up on Monday?

I think I may have some paint issues on my figure...

The live chat has mostly been down for a month - something about maintenance or a problem. It's been down 3/4's of the times I've tried to use it. It took me days of calling to actually get through. They said it was something about catching up after the holidays, but that's more than a month and a half ago now. And yeah, they seem to be averaging 2 weeks for first contact via e-mail.

This worries me - CS was one of their strong points and this is very different from what I'm used to with them. Between this and the growing list of straight re-releases, I think it's a bit troubling about the future of SSC 1/6.

That looks really nice, EVILFACE. How do you like C3PO? It just looks like him to me...i'm not going to nitpick this one....can't wait to surround him with jawas.

Maybe it's another drill.

:rotfl Nicely played!

Got my nice stand from Coco.

Coco is doing an amazing job on those stands. I already made one (not as nice as Coco's) but if I hadn't, I would have grabbed one of those.

I think he is a pretty kewl. Fragile pistons, but SS did a great job on this figure.

:exactly:

Seems like every SSC fig needs to be raked over the coals these days but I am really, really happy with this fig.

Here you go! I went ahead and did Galactiboys mod on the left hand and did the twisting mod on the other. Both look fine but I do admit it was pretty nerve racking to open that hand up. I'm still enjoying this figure very much

Here's one with another familiar droid

These photos look great. Not too fancy, just show the figure for what it looks like on the shelf.....great.

Thanks, I just purchased this because these in hand photos really bring the personality of C3PO to a figure.

Got my C3PO today, group shot, now I need Leia to finish it.

The sliding hydraulics on the arm are very fragile. The one on the back right arm already broke at the hinge when I went to bend his arm.

Cool photo, but what is on the floor everyone is looking at, is a famuily pet about to attack?:rotfl

Got my replacement arm this week. THIS TIME I removed the pistons before posing him, then reattached them...much safer....

Some HD pics coming!

I have gotten through to SS on chat and email over this issues last month...no real problems????

Finally got my replacement arm today. I sent my request on Jan. 19. They are slow, but at least I received it.

Got my replacement arm, but couldn't get anyone at SS to answer an email or pick up a phone. Do I send the photos of the destroyed arm to the returns email address?

Got mine from Thinkgeek today. Of course it had a broken piston :gah: All in all its not as bad a figure as I originally thought. Still not worth what SS is charging for it, but overall a decent figure and great addition to my OT collection.
