yea it sucks you can't use any of the other batmobiles during the main story. The BvS Batmobile would make sense to use since it has weapons built into the front of it.

Yea I hate you can't use any of the iconic batmobiles in story mode. I think rocksteady mentioned the issue was the passenger transport thing that the arkham batmobile has, i say let the characters clip through! looks dumb for a sec but lets us run the streets in the batmobile of our choice!

I'd have no issues with clipped characters, either. Although, they'd be quite a few of them :lol. Maybe there will be a mod for the PC version where you could use all the Batmobiles...

I just want to tell you, that you have the greatest username on this forum. It can't be said enough.

He only ever carries one passenger at a time too if I'm not mistaken, so they should've just made the Batmobile a two-seater and have the passengers/villains ride alongside him (like he did with Joker in Arkham Asylum. In fact they should've just modded their original Batmobile for this game to have battle-mode). That would've made it much easier to use Batmobile skins in the main story as they're all two-seaters.

I'm on ps4 just playing the dlc at the moment, and I can use the BVS batmobile and 89 batmobile in game, so don't know if there's something you need to do to allow it

You can use it in the Season of Infamy since there is no tanks during those, outside of one mission IIRC. Otherwise, you're only permitted the regular car and it's skins.

This, such a "woulda coulda" decision for the game (among other things :lol)

I'm still pissed off no BTAS skins...

This too, especially since the skin was available in Arkham City :cuckoo:

This is why I thought it would be a given in this one. They gave us some okay DLC, but no where near what I thought it would be. Not having all these great cars for use in the story mode is a big fail IMO. They could of taken liberties and put a cannon under the hood or behind the canopy of the Burtonmobile.

100% agree Snake. They even had to retroactively fix the challenge modes to make it more like Arkham City's. Such a fail for a "finale" game (which has already been discussed ad-nauseam :lol).

Better than TDKR. And had a lot of the same plot devices, but it could of been much much worse. Just the lack of epic boss fights was a huge blunder. AC was perfect in that regard.

I personally hope they move to a Batman Beyond game, since it seems like the most logical step. Unless they decide to tackle Superman, since they have multiple references to Metropolis and that "Flying freak."

Haha yea I forgot this game reminded me of TDKR. Like Evil said last page, lack of final fight with AK and even deathstroke was super lame, especially since there was one in origins. All that and you just have a tank battle with deathstroke and a sneak on AK when he's not looking. yay.

I think superman would be the next game, but not sure. He's hard to lock down in game mode historically and so far in recent movies too ;)

The game was essentially "Be the Batmobile."

The Superman Returns game had the right idea, having a big sandbox where you had free reign of his powers. But the game was amazingly terrible. Metropolis was completely soulless and boring. The final boss is a tornado? :lol OK

If Rocksteady did it, I'd hope it would be an open world game with plenty of room to fly around.

They'd have to figure out something with Superman's powers, perhaps an origin story or coming of age.

Batman Beyond though would be great, but we need the voice actors. Will Friedle OR BUST! Kevin Conroy OR DIE! Most importantly, it would work out tremendously. And...we can't have over reliance on the Batmobile :lecture

Nice to see the Iceberg lounge from Arkahm City making a return. It is definitely a 2.0 as this time around, the challenge map features environmental traps and guns caches for the thugs to use.

I agree with all of this.

Batman Beyond would lend it self to such an amazing game. It would be great if they use that one villain who could turn off sound. I think they totally outdo the great outside the box Scarecrow elements from the previous games with that character. I think his name was Shriek. Heck, they could combine elements with him, Spellbinder, and Ink's shape-shifting and make an amazing action-packed psychological thriller.

Shriek, you're thinking of him Bane. They could do a lot with a Beyond game, and it would be similar but different from the original games. You could even set it up as a sequel...but the question is, how would some characters fit in? Especially depending on what episodes they try to follow, specifically if say, they tried Return of the Joker.
